problem #3

Traverse LT2 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 59,000 miles

At 59,346 the air conditioning quit blowing cold air. I had to have the Discharge Line replaced for $408.00. I seems to be a common problem.

problem #2

Traverse LS 3.6L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

Air would not blow thru the vents. It only came out the defrost vents and it was not cold air. The actuators were warped. Had to have them replaced. This was the first problem with the Traverse AC

Traverse LT 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 115,200 miles

After my recent repair to my alternator, I noticed that as soon as I turned on my air conditioning it blew hot air. I called the dealership immediately and reported the problem. They basically told me that it will cost another $99.98 diagnostic charge and if they messed up something then no charge. This pisses me off because it was working fine when it took it to them. They did a diagnostic last week and if there was a problem then it should have been noted then. On this vehicle, extended warranty is well worth it. The one I had ended once I hit 100,000 miles.
