Traverse LT 3.6L, Sidi V6

Nothing like having no AC on 90+ days in August. Dealer had no idea why it stopped working and just glad it was covered by warranty.

problem #1

Traverse LT 3.6L, Sidi V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

Cabin fan quite again during the summer and car was out of warranty, GREAT! Dealer called me and said it would run me $350 or more to replace the unit. We then had a long discussion on how a fan unit should no go out once let alone twice on a car that had less than 100,000 miles on it.

At that point they did admit that mine was not the first one to have this issue and GM new about it which about put me over the edge. Told the service manager that at this point fix it and that I would never buy another GM product as this was stupid that they know this problem exist and did nothing about. Service manager agreed and they replaced the unit at cost and no labor charge and they would contact GM.

I also emailed them to complain about the STUPID issues that have cropped up with this $40,000 SUV and that I was done with them and never getting another one of the products. I was contacted by one of their CSR's and to shorten this mess up they gave me a years credit to XM. Great but still not getting another GM product. Thanks for nothing GM as I am sure you never took your vendor to task about this issue just let the customer suffer.
