I got in the car to put the seatbelt on and it just snapped at the floor, the lap belt cable which runs down to the left of the drivers seat. That braided cable just snapped. Shoulder harness still works, but no lap belt.

I purchased this Traverse back in October of 2019. I had it 2 months and it started winding and the power steering was making an awful noise I called the dealer I purchased it from cash for cars I'm graham, North Carolina and they told me there's nothing they can do. Also the rear seat belts in the back seat fell apart within a week of having it. I paid 13,000 dollars for the SUV and I just want it safe for my children.

Have only had this vehicle since late January 2017. Within 2 days of having it, the service stabilitrak, service traction control and reduce engine power alarms came up. There was also gas fumes filling my car. Had service completed, all that was found was a fouled out spark plug. Car has had these same alarms come up maybe a dozen times over the past 6 months. The first time these came up, vehicle was idling. Other times. I was driving on the interstate. Have also had the service airbag light come up as well. The middle seatbelt in the center of the car, doesn't come out at all.

The middle seatbelts in the middle and back row lock up and will not release. First in the second row, the middle seatbelt locks up when the seat gets folded down. The seatbelt will then not release. Sometimes you can pull it out and let it go back a few times and it will eventually come out, but not every time. The middle seatbelt in the third row seat became wrapped around my child's neck and would not release. I had to pull over and the belt was locked so tight around his neck that I could not maneuver it to get it off of his neck. I was eventually able to get him to bend his neck far enough to get it our from behind him, but this could have been catastrophic if he did not or was not able to notify me when it happened. This happened while the car was moving. Passenger airbag light keeps coming on.

The car's engine sounds too loud. I bought the car late December 2015 and I told the servce advisor that something is wrong with the wiring because the light bulb needed to change, sounds from speakers would bounce off from one speaker to another, the windows would not go back up, and engine was louder than usual. Two weeks ago, while I was on I-95 with my kids, the engine light came on, the car automatically slowed down on me, traction control automatically turned off, the car stated engine power slowed and stabitalk light came on. I was terrified. I'm already a victim of mile discrepancy and poor professionalism from the GM from autonation Chevrolet delray and I'm still having problems with my vehicle. I took my car there a time back in may because my engine was shaking, I was told they fixed my engine but the car was still shaking afterwards. Also the seatbelt for the middle seat of the second row, works when it wants to. I went to autonation to look at the vehicle, they claimed it doesn't have engine issues even though they did not give me a copy of the results of the whole diagonosis.

The driver side seat belt comes undone while driving. It doesn't stay buckled. We have used an air compressor hose to blow any debris out that may have fallen down into the buckle but it still doesn't stay latched.

Over the past couple years the vehicle "check air bag" light has come on multiple times and a warning indicator on the dash indicating someone has not buckled their seat belt. I have taken the vehicle to the dealership at least 5 or six times for the same problem and they have been unable to correct the problem. Most recent repair attempt was 1/4/16 and I have an appointment scheduled for 2/1/16. I have reached out to the service manager, customer relations rep and most recently corporate (case# 8-1796822227). We purchased the vehicle new but have not felt safe in it since this first started happening. We try to minimise use but have 5 grand children that we regularly haul around. We don't really recall when the problem first started. Again we do not feel this vehicle is safe and believe it should be reported and looked into.

Hello. I leased a 2012 Traverse for 24 months and had 3 or was it 4 urgent/important recalls" I missed work 3 times costing me almost $500 dollars because I had to call off all because "urgent/important" took those words for granted recalls. I recently got a 24 month new lease from Chevy again after turning my Traverse in this month shortly after I was billed by ally financial about $600 for minor wear and tears for the Traverse I turned in almost 2 weeks ago. I turned the truck in early and made the last payment and it was 8K miles under. I'm shocked and appalled that with all the urgent recalls and having to lose money calling off work to get these serious urgent recalls fixed, ally or Chevy did not even offer any incentives?? they said repairs for recalls are at no charge...well of course they're responsible and to think of my kids and driving with them knowing a prior urgent recalls and one being was with safety belts??,? hmmm maybe I need to talk to someone about this, I have to take it as a serious matter. I lost time and money away from work to fix the Chevy recalls...so many, and ally financial is asking me for almost $600??? Chevy neglected to release these vehicles like the Traverse with seat belt issues being discovered a year after I've been driving it and with the family in it" wow unbelievable, and then ally financial asking me for $600. For minor scratches, some nerves. Chevy not even compensating nothing not even a dollar, hah I just hope that vp [xxx] of the global vehicle safety realizes this was ongoing the second my family truck Traverse left the assembly with this important/urgent recall, especially the seat belt one. My family rode in this truck. No compensations just an apology, sure yah right great customer service...ally owes me and Chevy should pay my debt...the nerve! information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).
