I traded in my Ford F150 for this Chevy Traverse..First mistake ! .Bought the car new.It only has 30,000 on it and goes in for annual service. When I first bought it winter was upon us noticed heater did not get real hot...Then this summer when temp got in the high 90s AC was not even cool...Took car in was told it was an evaporator value. And here is the kicker the dealer said no problem they have had so many that they now keep in stock,so I will not have to wait for part to come in. After getting repair done.Started researching on internet if other people had this same problem THEY did...GM it well aware of this from 2009 up until 2013 and has done nothing to refund any money toward the part replacement. I have been in contact with Gm filed a claim.which of course was denied. Funny how they could take taxpayers money to bail their butt out..but cant help the car owners with part replacement....which they have known about / SHAME on you GM/Chevy...Pissed off Lewes DE

I have had several GM vehicles, I am a loyal customer but the last 4 have been horrendous with recalls and not working. Chevy Colorado, Trailblazer, Pontiac Grand Prix, and now the Traverse. No AC. What a bunch of crap. If it's not one thing it's another. I will not buy NOT buy GM again. Period.

Seems to be an ongoing problem in all Traverses starting in 2009. Would think the manufacture would fix problem when the first complaints were made. There are a lot of forums on the internet with the same exact problem. I bought my vehicle used in February of 2014 so didn't notice the A/C problem until weather got hot. Pretty sure this is the last GM product I will purchase.

Chevy is known for its bad AC systems be aware. Avoid American made products at all cost. When a manufacturer has a 3yr or 36,000 mile warranty that is because they now the product will be in for repairs, foreign makes have better warranty because they believe in their products.
