What caused these brakes to wear out at 38,000 miles? Why is it not warranted? How dependable is it now, will I have to get it redone in another 35-38,000 miles? How do I get Chevrolet to recognize that this shouldn't have happened and how do I get reimbursed?
We were planning to get a second Traverse this fall, I am very concerned since this happened and it is not recognized as a problem with Chevrolet and is not covered, maybe we should look for another vehicle from another company.
This is a 2014 Traverse with average mileage on it, driven by a little old lady (others may think I am but I don't) mostly on the highway to visit/babysit grandkids. NO, NO, NO, I don't ride my brakes, I signal BEFORE I start to make turns (unlike other little old ladies) and I am an average good driver. I don't even suffer from road rage where one might start, stop and tap brakes while shouting at others.
Last question, does this complaint help my situation or is it just a place to vent?
