Traverse LTZ V6

Yea.... We have been pretty frustrated. We have had this problem on and off for about a year and whenever we bring it in, no one has any idea how to help us. We have already tried to replace the battery and the throttle body which has worked for some people, but it seems like the next step is replacing the wheel bearings which is expensive, and then there are also other problems that are definitely all related to each other.

It started with the Traction Control system going on and off. This was causing car to lose acceleration on the freeway, which is terrifying. You can get it to reset by turning car off, put it in park and starting it again. Then we sometimes get stabilitrack need to be serviced. Now we also are getting that the tire pressure system needs to be serviced. We can get three of the four tires to sync but not the last one. Then the Air Conditioner sometimes also will not work. We still owe 11K on this car sooooo... yea. Oh, also now, the latest is that the engine won't shut off when you take the key out of the ignition. We are so screwed.

Traverse LTZ V6

  • Automatic transmission

Our Traverse has done the following about 10 times!! The dealership says nothing is wrong with the car!!! Stability track off, reducing engine power, car starts shaking then dies. All of this goes on while driving at any given speed! I have contacted Chevrolet, they will do nothing!!! This has happened to my wife with our 3 kids in the car, I have told Chevrolet if they get into a wreck because of this they will be hearing from my lawyer!!!!

Update from Mar 18, 2019: Ok everyone, the car did it again, took it to the dealership again, this time they say it needs a $500.00 fuse box, I agree to let them change it. After the work was done we have had no more issues for the past 2 months, hopefully this fixed it.

Traverse LT 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

While driving, all dash warning lights came on and my vehicle stumbled and would not accelerate. I shut the car off and waited for about 15 minutes and them it drove normally.

I took this vehicle to the Dealership and explained the problem. I was informed that there were no error codes stored in the computer for this issue. The dealer kept the vehicle for two days driving it to try to get the issue to reoccur. It has not.

I was informed that there is nothing the dealer can do until if fails again. If it does, don't turn off the car and call for service and hopefully the issue can be diagnosed.
