The vehicle has a significant rattling sound from the engine that can be heard inside the vehicle and over the radio. When taken into service, was informed that GM knows of the rattling and customers have complained but cannot be fixed as it is due to the auto start stop system and function. The rattling is on and off but can be heard more often than not. Service has not said there is a repair yet.

I went to Michigan from New York via Pennsylvania, Upon reaching there I noticed my engine compartment start to make a rattling noise. whenever I push gas above 50 KM/h it starts to rattle. even when vehicle is stopped and just push gas it starts to rattle at above 1500 rpm. Initially I thought it was knocking sound coming out of engine but it only comes when gas is pushed, on idle there is no sound. i am also doubtful any metal component got loosened while driving on high and low roads of pennsylvania where you have to push more gas and power. i live in canada, i came back and went to my dealer and told them the problem, first they asked can you make that sound? i was like shocked that how can i make that sound? then i asked them to come with me and take a test drive, one of the person came but couldn't hear the sound. i took an appointment with them, lets see what comes up. most probably I'm suspecting any external metallic component on engine got loose and that's making noise whenever i push gas or when in cruise engine vibrates itself naturally. can it be knocking sound of pistons or inside from engine?
