Complained to dealer three times. First they said it has to be jerking at time I bring it in, second time they said the same thing but neither time I don't believe they even test drove it, the third time they said the computer didn't show any problem but said they could update the module which may help the problem (at my expense).
I have found several TSB on this problem and the dealer never done any of the recommendations they mentioned. I'm still having the same problem. It seems to have the problem once the transmission warms up to around 170 degrees or higher. Doesn't do it all the time but I'm afraid the transmission will fail and cause an accident.

Purchased brand new 6 miles. Love my traverse until recently I had noticed it having problems shifting from 1-2-3. bucking and clear up for a little while. Next few days got worst and neighbor did an oil change and transmissions fluid check. Took for ride and he felt it still too. Called the dealer after research that others have this problem but recall was for 2017 and 2019 not anywhere in 2018. Why? Called dealer and took over there and now they are saying it the torque converter talking circles around me of course. Plus the blindside sensor went and the tire sensors too. The thing is the answer was over 36000 or 3 year mark. This happens when you don't drive the car all the time. Really transmission should not go because I didn't use the vehicle. So an argument started as if I was a male would you tell me that the guy stared at me and walk away but not before he told me to not talk so loud that I sounded Iike I was yelling at him. Anyway I argued enough that they have now called in a recall expert and also found out I still had an extended bumper to bumper warranty. I also have a GMC savana took them to find why my battery only lasts 3 days and died. At least a dozen purchased or traded for new ones. I finally found it with a neighbor that the light under the hood was staying on but you cant see it. While he was changing battery there was a flicker in the light and I saw it . $300.00 battery later and it working because of common sense not dealership work.
Back to the traverse They are charging me if warranty guy and states it not their problem $5000 with a mileage of 20,270 only. The rental car was to be approved for 35.00 a day but that will not work because my special needs son has to be transported in the seat and foldable wheelchair in the back trunk. Yes this problem has cause a great concern for myself and special needs son. The rental place was nice to give us an equinox smaller version of the Traverse. By the way run the vin number it states my vehicle is 2 row seats for 5 people when in fact it seats 8 people. They cant even get that right.
So here is what happened : start engine, back out of driveway, put in drive and start get to end of street, make a turn and it starts to shift to 2 gear and bucking. down the road about distance of 20 houses and it shifts to 3rd gear and bucking and gets worst or hesitates. Sometime it even shuts off at traffic lights. you pull over and put into park and rev the engine and it clears and you go on your way. I tried dry gas stuff thinking it was water in fuel but nope. Is it really the torque I don't know that either I am trusting them to fix problem properly.
