The tire pressure monitoring system shows incorrect information. It is of by 3 - 5 psi when compared to a tire pressure gauge the is tested & calibrated accurate to ?2% at our JACO NIST and ANSI certified calibration lab. Not knowing the correct tire air pressure risks a blowout while traveling. The component will be inspected within 5 days at a Chevrolet dealership service center. The failure causes alerts on the Driver Information Center to the incorrect tire pressure. The error first appeared around June 2020 while checking the tire pressure with my gauge.
