I went to a dealership that I had heard good things about. I bought the the trax for 15,000, it seemed like a reasonable offer. Great gas mileage, a small SUV, and 18900 miles still under factory warranty.
I was SOOOOOO wrong!! The brakes have been squealing since day one. The dealership I bought it from has picked it up twice to look at the brakes. They claim that it never makes a sound for them. I want to believe them, but I can't. Everytime I try to use the breaks the squealing coming from my car is so embarrassing!!! The dealership actually told me it was the way I must be putting my foot on the brake, that I need to brake harder. I'm 34 I've never heard that because I'm not breaking hard enough my breaks are squealing. I can't believe this is happening. My advice, stay away from the Chevy Trax.
