The contact rented a 2019 Chevrolet Trax equipped with Uniroyal Tires, Tire Line: Tiger Paw, Tire Size: 205/70/R16, DOT Number: (N/A). The contact stated that while driving at approximately 70 MPH, the vehicle started shuddering. The contact pulled off the roadway. Upon inspecting the vehicle, the contact noticed that 9 -inches of tread had detached from the front passenger-??s side tire. The vehicle was towed to Hertz Rental where the contact was provided another vehicle. The contact was unsure if the dealer or manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 58,800. The VIN was unavailable.
