This first started in August, I thought it was the brakes and there is a complaint about it on this site. Well the short story is, my car brakes locked up at 70 mph, posted highway. I ended up taking it to the dealership, yesterday they said it was a broken wire, and today they called and said my fuse box needs to be replaced. A FUSE BOX ON A TWO YEAR OLD CAR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. Let that sink in, it is not covered under warranty as a safety issue for a car with less than 50k miles.

I have driven cars that were 22 years old that never had that issue. This is the first brand new car I have ever had, and now I wish I had never purchased it. It is ABSOLUTELY F*&%^%$G STUPID THAT THIS IS NOT A WARRANTY ITEM WHEN THE CAR IS 2 YEARS OLD. This is wiring, wiring on a vehicle that has never been touched, because it is located UNDER the fuse box. I have no choice but to fix it. I will however, BLEED THROUGH MY EYES, before buying another Chevy or GMC.

The cost started at 412.00$, and overnight repair, for a broken wire. It has now gotten to 719.00$ and two weeks to repair, I will keep you posted. Oh and by the way, there is no loaner car available, so now I'm wondering what I am supposed to do about my job? I didn't find out until this happened that the extended warranty and roadside assistance that I originally requested were not in my contract. (My fault, I know, that's what I get for trusting this company to do right by their customers. It's my own stupidity as a first time new car buyer) So let's add the towing bill into the equation. To have my car towed 6 miles, came to 85.00$.

I don't know where it will end up, but I will update this mess as it occurs.
