Poor design of the under vehicle tire storage system allows it's cable and associated fittings to be vulnerable to harsh elements and road salts which could result in fatigue and the tire to fall off, consumer believes GM Canada is making the consumer responsible for checking the security of the spare periodically instead of redesigning it properly. Nlm
