I have had this car for 5 years, it has been an okay car. Right after I bought it, my horn honked, I'm just driving down the road, and it honks, all by itself. I thought I was hearing things. It does seem to heat up when at an idle. My windshield wipers started giving me problems in 2008, which the mechanic nickel and dimed me for. Then my alternator went. Took it to local dealer, they finally fixed it right. In between then and now, my horn still honks occassionally. My gas gauge decided it couldn't decide if it was full or empty, the needle was bouncing all over the place. That was $500. to fix right before I took my son to Florida for our first and probably last vacation!! Altho' she behaved well on the way there and back and only honked once!!
About six months ago, my left turn signal started flashing really fast so I assumed it was out. It was, they tried to put a new bulb in at a oil change place with no results, they said it must be an electrical problem. Oh yay!! Then after about a month it started working again. But then two days ago, I realized my headlights weren't working, which is a problem since I work third shift. So I called my local Chevy repair, they got it right in and fixed the multi-function switch to the tune of $860. Hopefully that fixes the problem. It better, cuz I had to close a retirement account to pay for it!!! @#%&!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
