This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chevrolet dealer.
TPMS reports a failure at least once per day. I press "select" to clear the alert and drive on. I check the pressure levels on the tires and they are fine...so its intermittent.

Driving home after purchasing car, the TPMS system goes offline with the attendant vehicle warning message.
Took to dealer and they "reset" the system.

Been to Chevy dealer multiple times while the car was under warranty with no success. Now out of warranty I don't plan on taking the car back. TPMS may be on for weeks and may not see it on again for months at a time.
