This car is connected to Bouncie a device that detects when a car turns on and off, the speed, if break or acceletor are stepped on forcefully and any trips. Recently the device is detecting the engine is turned off but the car is showing no signs of struggling and its in full motion. This is new, I've tested the device in another car for two weeks hoping it was the device but I had no issues on the other vehicle. The images is just one of several occasions. The image shows green dot where car starts and red where car is turned off. However, I never turned off my car at the Demaree Rd that day. I feel like the car is losing power and starts back up while in motion.

I was driving on a road at roughly 50 mph when suddenly without warming, the screen and everything shut off and went black in the vehicle, and then immediately turned back on, this time with the engine light on. In the following seconds, the gas pedal completely stopped responding, and I had to coast to a stop at the side of the road. It was a dangerous spot on the road to have this happen. I was able to power the vehicle off, and then back on again, and the vehicle functioned normally immediately afterwards, with no engine light on.

Car experienced sudden loss of power while driving. Warning appeared 'Propulsion Power Reduced.' Was able to continue driving short distance home and parked. Attempted to recharge battery but it would not accept charge. I was able to restart car again with "Propulsion Power Reduced' and drove to dealer. Diagnosis: Body Control Module (BCM) failed. Unit was replaced. Vehicle drove normally for short period and issue repeated within one day. Returned to dealer. Issue resolved after second attempt.

Driving on 55 mph straight two lane road when car ahead slowed. To recover energy to the battery, dropped from "D" to "L" in gear selection rather than using brakes (was plenty of distance, but not enough to coast). Car in front turned off to right. I advanced selector to drive, but overshot into neutral. Realized my error when pressing accelerator yielded no speed increase. Put selector into "D", verified visually and pressed accelerator without result. Verified again visually that selector in D. advanced deliberately into N, then back to D, then reapplied accelerator with functional result this time. I am a PE with siemens vdo, retired. Since vehicle is single speed "transmission", I assume computer glitch

2/24/17 while driving on a public business 2 lane road with 30 miles battery life and 150 miles gas available, the car driving at approximately 25 miles per hour on a very slight declining slope when it completely stopped in the middle of the "fast" lane of traffic on a four lane road - two lanes in each direction. The warning "propulsion power reduced" and check engine light were both on. I was only slightly able to control the car by forcefully turning right into a driveway across another traffic lane while rolling slightly downhill. I was only able to make it into the driveway before I started rolling backwards and I forcefully had to keep my foot on the brake so the car would not roll. When I turned off the engine, the hazards went off so I had to turn the engine back on so that the hazard lights would work. The tow truck driver was able to load it onto the stake bed and told me that it was working fine. No errors on display. It sat off for about 5 minutes and he drove it onto the stake bed. The Sierra Chevrolet in monrovia ca had the car for a week, but said that the codes did not show up when they tested it. And they even drove the car around town for 70 miles. I explained to them that this wasn't the first time that the code showed up but the other two times, it showed up the car lost power, while driving up a hill at about 35mph, but immediately restarted itself....and the code disappeared. I informed the dealer that a full charge from my house used to be more than 40 mile range, now it is down to 30 - 35 miles...never 40. I got the car back with no work done. On the freeway it had trouble going more than 55 mph so opted for slow lane rather than the usual car pool lane and immediately got off the freeway. This was a very straight freeway, no inclines. Problem still exists, feel manufacturer needs to be notified as it just stopped!

Friday October 30 at 1 pm pacific coast time, my Volt lost all power on the middle of the san mateo bridge. There was no shoulder and the car went from 70 miles an hour to a dead stop in about 100 ft. I had a "propulsion system failure" message on the display screen. I was nearly rear-ended by a semi, who in turn nearly turned over trying to swerve out of my lane. The semi nearly pushed another car into san francisco bay. This is a dangerous vehicle and the government should not allow it to be sold.

Total loss of power climbing a hill at freeway speed. The behavior was like the car had shifted itself into neutral. This then manifested itself three other times over the next 20 miles of driving.
