When the engine is running and I am driving on any street or highway if I shut off any component off the HVAC system, the vehicle will get very damp inside. On rainy, foggy, or cold conditions all the windows will fog in 30 seconds to the point I cannot see. It will take some time to clear if I turn it back on. There is some degree of damp musty feeling in my car any time I turn the system on as well. I am afraid it will start growing mold. I cannot get the dealer to work on it under warrantee. I have an extended warrantee. This problem has been present since the car was new. It happens still.

The hmi (human machine interface) module, a primary component of the vehicle's in-cabin computer system, can fail in a 2017 Chevrolet Volt while the car is at rest or in motion resulting in the inability to access or use the vehicle's installed back-up camera. The 2017 Chevrolet Volt has very poor rear visibility without a back-up camera. If the driver is unable to see clearly behind the vehicle, an accident is more likely to occur.
