The contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 200 convertible. When attempting to close the convertible top, the latch used to secure the roof failed without warning. The vehicle was taken to Dodge Chrysler Jeep of winter haven (299 cypress gardens blvd, winter haven, fl 33880, (888)-612-3182) where it was diagnosed that the roof module failed and needed to be replaced. The dealer informed the contact that the part was discontinued and recommended the contact locate the part. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified and advised the contact to try to locate parts throughout her state. The failure mileage was 97,000.
