Bought my Chrysler 200 new in 2012. Exact time and mileage of first problem with popping etc.... is approximate. Now, in shop for 4th time with this issue. Warranty is now up but working with dealership and Chrysler Corporation to get it covered as it is an unresolved warranty issue. (Currently have them down to $100 co-pay) Finally, they have found/admitted to problem with lower tie rods occurring during manufacture.

There is a knocking/rattling/popping noise somewhere in the front end around the steering area. It occurs after the car had warmed up. Around town, driving slowly, or stopping and starting at red lights, in parking lots and the longer I drive it the louder the noise gets. It sounds like the front end of the car is going to completely fall apart. I have taken it to the dealer and they can't seem to find the problem.
