almost 30 days after I bought this used car; I started to feel this poof cloud of hot air just blast on my feet and legs. Like most I thought maybe I had the heater on even though it was July. I shared my observations with friends and family know one ever felt the heat and i was unable to recreate it.
Finally, I knew I wasn't crazy so I took the car into the service dealer where I was told they couldn't find anything and this was normal for Chrysler. I told them, that was news to me since my last car was a Chrysler and it didn't do anything like this. I eventually took the car back several times for the same issue. At one time they said they may have found something. Next thing I know I'm driving down I-5 in wet Tacoma, WA; front passenger window half down and ..POOF, MY FRONT WINDSHIELD FOGGED UP!!! and did not clear immediately when deploying the defrost... And which was I supposed to use Hot or Cold defrost?? I rolled down the driver window, trying not too panic because I couldn't see out the windshield; I even rolled the two rear windows down. Angels must have been with me that I didn't crash.
Please help. It has been a year and no one has been able to fix this dangerous hot air poof when it fogs the windshield.

I JUST BOUGHT A 2013&2014 CHRYSLER 200 S, BOTH HAVE SAME PROBLEM. WITH THE BLOWER OFF, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THE OTHER SETTING ARE ON. YOU WILL GET A BLAST OF HOT AIR ON DRIVER SIDE FLOOR. TOOK IT TO A CHRYSLER GARAGE. THEY SAID THEY CHECKED OUT THE SYSTEM, IT CHECK OUT OK. THAT'S BULLSHIT. THAT'S THE NATURE OF THE CAR. SO WITH THE WINDOW DOWN YOU CAN GET A HEAT BURN ON YOUR LEGS AT SAME TIME.

Like a few others have noted - for no reason you will get a rush of Hot Moist air coming from the floor area on the drivers side as well as fogging of the windshield on both sides. It happens on a regular basis. At first when it was hot out and I had the AC on I thought my AC was going out. This is not a normal operation for a vehicle and I see that others have said that Chrysler claims nothing is wrong. I have owned 2 Sebring's prior to this 200 and they never exhibited this kind of issue so - no it in NOT normal and - Somebody really screwed up if it is a normal function of this vehicle.
