This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chrysler dealer.
I've had the radio replaced in my Chrysler 200 twice. I will be driving along and all of a sudden the radio goes black. Sometimes it comes back on after I restart the car, sometimes not. The dealership has been responsive but it means many trips over there - they always want you to bring it in so they can look at it and then they have to order a new radio and you have to come back again. The radio still works when this happens but you can't see anything. You can't use any of the features on the screen because it is black. It also necessitates calling up the Sirius/XM folks and setting my account up again.

Went to the store with my grandchildren. We were listening to the radio. Came back to the car from being in the store and the whole radio system would not come on. It was 2 days before it came back on.

The radio isn't working. It keeps resetting itself. It will work for an hour then will shut off randomly for a couple of days. I drive 120 miles to work and back everyday and this problem just started at 34,000 miles. Dealer can't see it for 2 weeks so I had to take a photo of odometer so it would be covered under basic warranty. Not happy at this time, in fact I'm so mad I'm gonna trade off this hunk of junk as soon as it's fixed so it won't happen again! I always buy UAW made in the USA.
