Vehcile has several error lights that come and go. I cannot get Chrysler dealers in brevard, Florida to do warranty work. Everyone is in danger as the car is no longer safe. I have begged for tow ins, rentals and warranty diagnoses. I have begged for Chrysler to send a trained rep from out of town to investigate. This has gone on for years, now the below dealerships owns both the dealers in my region and refuse to do work to diagnoe per warranty at either. I had a free oil change package from Chrysler from a previous service related complaint. The dealer scheduled an appointment, I gave them all my info. I also ordered an expensive part to have installed, which is nonreturnable. I paid for and picked up part. Checked my car in. Then ross and craig, also ed O'donnell I was told were all texted by ross and upon checking in vehicle was told "sorry we will not service your vehicle or install your part. This has been an ongoing issue and I was also told by ed O'donnell on a previous complaint that I was welcomed to return. Did I mention the package expired shortly there after. Also shortly there after leaving the work they did previously, the symptoms now re present themselves. Ironically. Also, it was admitted by phone that they had backmoffice discussions with another dealer in the area gator Chrysler. I am now stuck with a part they will not install or refund. They will not change my oil or rotate tires. They will not fessmup to the vandalism of my vehicle that occurred on their lot in 2018. They have destroyed my car and now all kinds of engine lights come on to discredit me. When driving between 30 and 45 mph, the vehicle shifts hard between gears. Most recently another problem occurred L, while pushing on the accelerator to pass or accelerate quickly, the transmission does not engage, leaving the vehicle unable to accelerate. The engine will rev and the tachometer will increase but the car will not move. If the driver was trying to move out of the way of a vehicle coming twords them they would be helpless and this could cause serious injury or death to all drivers. I have taken my vehicle to an approved fca mechanic, and was told they could not duplicate the problem, or the transmission needed a reprogramming. I have had this service done now 7 times and no guarantee that it won't happen again.

Note this did not all happen in the same day you are separate occurrences. First issue car shift itself in the park when I was at a red light on a city street would not shift back into. Second airbag light keeps coming on telling me to service airbag system comes on and off. 3rd I lose all power to electrical components. I was driving at night on the highway I lost all power to my headlights interior lights radio everything electrical.

On Saturday 29/9/2019 I was getting ready to go to work from fremont, ca to san jose, ca and my car wouldn't start. I had to press the push start several times to get it to start, . once it did start when I turned on the defroster it started shaking and turned off. I had to let it idle more than 15 minutes before it warmed up. I made it around the block about a quarter mile before I came to a stop sign and the car shut off. I managed to turn it back on and pull over. It continued to stall until I got back home. Since then it's been shaking when on idle and it jerks between gears. While on the 880 freeway the car will decelerate during peak traffic hours causing me to have to pull over to the slow lanes to avoid getting rear ended. I'm taking to the dealership for diagnostics.

The car has shuts off while driving. I bought the car used last year in March 2018. It had issues w/jerking between gears and "hopping", but several months ago, just shut off while driving 75 mph on a highway (twice in 15 mins). Dealership attempted to fix. But, its back to same problem. It shut off Tuesday while out of town at a hotel while pulling out onto a 5 lane road. Supposedly fixed, and then shut off on interstate 695 around baltimore last night while two lanes of traffic over. Shutting off with -0- warning while traveling on busy interstates is extremely dangerous and possible life threatening. Per research, this seems to be a major issue for this car, not sure why NHTSA has not recalled it yet.

Incident ha happened several times. While going in traffic at lower speeds 25 to 45mph the transmission will not shift when you try to accel to a higher speed. We have to slow speed down and try again to accelerate, most times this works.

It"S been at least 8months since I?ve driven my own car because of all the safety hazards on it and I am pregnant. I feel to scared to drive it thinking that something may happen to me because the car wants to act up. Since about a month after I had financed the car I noticed that the air bag light was on and the transmission light would pop on and off. The car started to stay at a certain speed limit and would not accelerate no matter how hard or long I pressed on the gas pedal. I would then have to pull over to the side of the road and turn my car off and then turn it back on. This was ongoing for months.. it was my only transportation to work and I didn?T have the money to get a new car after just financing one and being young in the military. I had took it to my dealership when this happened and they told me that the transmission light would come up because the sensor for my oil wasn't reading and it was nothing to worry about and my air bag light came up because someone in the backseat must've stepped on it and it would still work but the light would be there. A lot of [xxx] but at the time I didn't know much so I went off of what they said. Later on the light would go on and off. For the first 6 month I believe I had replaced my lights 8 times thinking that it was normal to change it that often. Again I didn't know much about cars. But after getting it checked the dealership had told me I have wiring issues and I my head lights and highbeams don"T work on the left hand side. And after letting a friend use my car for a day I believe they've gone out completely. Today I went to drive my car literally 5min away from my house to the store to just turn it on and my car started shaking while I was driving it. Oh and my battery has gone out before on me a couple of times in the past and it did that to me today while I was on a hill which was really dangerous. Since we bought the car new in 07/14 we have been problems with the airbags. We have taken it the dealership, the have said theirs nothing they can do about it....due to not a recall on this model. We still drive with the airbag needs to serviced. We like this to be taken care of, as well all the transmission problems. Vehicle has around 35,000 miles on it. I have noticed since about 20,000 miles that the car has been jerking. This happens both with slow acceleration and slowing down to stop. If I am approaching a red light or stop sign and I start to slow to stop, the car will jerk to the point that it feels like it will stall. When easing off of the brake after a stop sign or red light, the car jerks to the point that if I was close enough to the car in front of me, I would most likely hit them. On one occasion I was driving through a school zone going about 10 mph, the RPM needle was past 4 and the car was making a loud sound. I tried to go slower but the car jerked and stalled. Another issue is when trying to merge onto an interstate, the car doesn't seem to want to speed up. It will be stuck around 50-55 and I really have to hit the gas to get it to speed up. Within the last month, my car has stalled twice. Once when backing out of my drive way and once while pulling in. I have taken it to the dealership relating the a transmission error I got as well as a coolant temp. Sensor and mentioned the issues with the jerking and stalling but the dealership has not been able to recreate or get a code. This is starting to happen more frequently and is a bit alarming as I never know when it is going to start giving issues.

On 9/16/18, vehicle died and would not start. After several attempts, it started, then while driving down the road, vehicle lost all electrical power and came to a stop in the middle of traffic. Car was towed to dealer where they trouble shooted for several days trying to reproduce the electrical power failure. They found a services bulletin about electrical connection and replaced wiring harness. Over the next several months I noticed my vehicle felt like the transmission was slipping. As time went on, I realized it wasn't a slipping, but a hard shift. The vehicle would also loose power upon acceleration to merge into traffic or changing lanes. This was very scary, but at times it seemed as if the vehicle might lose complete power and die while in heavy highway speed traffic. On 10/11/2018 while having my vehicle oil changed, I asked the technician to drive the vehicle to confirm what I was feeling with the transmission. The technician agreed that the transmission was in fact not shifting or functioning properly. I obtained a quote to have the transmission serviced. The technician advised have the transmission flushed/serviced might help, but often times flushing can cause symptoms to worsen. I opted to not have the transmission flushed/serviced at that time and planned to take my vehicle into the dealer after the holidays. It is now the the 3rd week in December and just this week the hard shifting and loss of power when the vehicle downshifts to merge into highway speed traffic has worsened significantly. I phoned the Chrysler dealer today and spoke with my service advisor to schedule an appt. I am to call back on Wednesday 12/26 to reserve a courtesy vehicle and schedule appt. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who determined that a bolt on the transmission failed and needed replacement. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The new one paid for by roger of gator chrylser melbourne, fl had an inmatched dot number, being from a new batch, also lesser tread wear compared to other 3. tire kingdom since has seen my car multiple times for tire punctures. I was told the car guys here are connected and nothing is for free. I was told they are pawns following someones directive. This is disturbing as it involves local organized crime, as even the police could not get away with this action legally. I saved tge patched tire and all records. On multiple occasions I have been driving down the road and my car shifts very hard and has made grinding noises. Not only that but ever since I have bought it, it shifts like a rubber band being pulled back and makes you lunge forward. I believe I have taken it in 3 times now and with no resolution. The first time I took it in they had a service rep ride with me to see what I was feeling. He personally said that it wasn't shifting correctly and so they kept it. When I picked it up they informed me they did not find anything wrong with it but re-programmed it. As I left the dealership it shifted worse than before. I then called and complained and they said it was normal, on my way back home it was consistently shifting rough. I finally just pulled over shut the car off and started it up again. After doing so it shifted smoother but worse than it did before. On a separate occasion I was driving down the highway at a speed of 70 mph set on cruise when I tried to disengage the cruise control function and it would not disengage! I was going from a highway to a speed limit change and could not get it. Luckily I have read about this happening and shifted it into neutral and I was able to disengage it after that.

Takata recall: Where do I start. I have been having many issue with this car the latest issue which just happened my car wouldn't turn on and all the lights on the dash board would turn on the 'service transmission' 'serivce brakes' will turn and they would start flashing. When I would try to change gears my nobe would stay on park but the nobe would be turning! I would have to turn my car off and attempt to turn it back on then it would work. Now my brake is hard and my nobe will not turn my car stayed on neutral and now won't even turn on. Also before that the brakes system alert would go off from time to time. Other times my car would turn off out of nowhere. Overall my experience with this car has been bad.
