Since we bought the car new in 07/14 we have been problems with the airbags. We have taken it the dealership, the have said theirs nothing they can do about it....due to not a recall on this model. We still drive with the airbag needs to serviced. We like this to be taken care of, as well all the transmission problems. Vehicle has stalled on us while driving on the highway couple of times...intermittent staggers while driving.

Vehicle has around 35,000 miles on it. I have noticed since about 20,000 miles that the car has been jerking. This happens both with slow acceleration and slowing down to stop. If I am approaching a red light or stop sign and I start to slow to stop, the car will jerk to the point that it feels like it will stall. When easing off of the brake after a stop sign or red light, the car jerks to the point that if I was close enough to the car in front of me, I would most likely hit them. On one occasion I was driving through a school zone going about 10 mph, the RPM needle was past 4 and the car was making a loud sound. I tried to go slower but the car jerked and stalled. Another issue is when trying to merge onto an interstate, the car doesn't seem to want to speed up. It will be stuck around 50-55 and I really have to hit the gas to get it to speed up. Within the last month, my car has stalled twice. Once when backing out of my drive way and once while pulling in. I have taken it to the dealership relating the a transmission error I got as well as a coolant temp. Sensor and mentioned the issues with the jerking and stalling but the dealership has not been able to recreate or get a code. This is starting to happen more frequently and is a bit alarming as I never know when it is going to start giving issues.

On 9/16/18, vehicle died and would not start. After several attempts, it started, then while driving down the road, vehicle lost all electrical power and came to a stop in the middle of traffic. Car was towed to dealer where they trouble shooted for several days trying to reproduce the electrical power failure. They found a services bulletin about electrical connection and replaced wiring harness. Over the next several months I noticed my vehicle felt like the transmission was slipping. As time went on, I realized it wasn't a slipping, but a hard shift. The vehicle would also loose power upon acceleration to merge into traffic or changing lanes. This was very scary, but at times it seemed as if the vehicle might lose complete power and die while in heavy highway speed traffic. On 10/11/2018 while having my vehicle oil changed, I asked the technician to drive the vehicle to confirm what I was feeling with the transmission. The technician agreed that the transmission was in fact not shifting or functioning properly. I obtained a quote to have the transmission serviced. The technician advised have the transmission flushed/serviced might help, but often times flushing can cause symptoms to worsen. I opted to not have the transmission flushed/serviced at that time and planned to take my vehicle into the dealer after the holidays. It is now the the 3rd week in December and just this week the hard shifting and loss of power when the vehicle downshifts to merge into highway speed traffic has worsened significantly. I phoned the Chrysler dealer today and spoke with my service advisor to schedule an appt. I am to call back on Wednesday 12/26 to reserve a courtesy vehicle and schedule appt. The new one paid for by roger of gator chrylser melbourne, fl had an inmatched dot number, being from a new batch, also lesser tread wear compared to other 3. tire kingdom since has seen my car multiple times for tire punctures. I was told the car guys here are connected and nothing is for free. I was told they are pawns following someones directive. This is disturbing as it involves local organized crime, as even the police could not get away with this action legally. I saved tge patched tire and all records. On multiple occasions I have been driving down the road and my car shifts very hard and has made grinding noises. Not only that but ever since I have bought it, it shifts like a rubber band being pulled back and makes you lunge forward. I believe I have taken it in 3 times now and with no resolution. The first time I took it in they had a service rep ride with me to see what I was feeling. He personally said that it wasn't shifting correctly and so they kept it. When I picked it up they informed me they did not find anything wrong with it but re-programmed it. As I left the dealership it shifted worse than before. I then called and complained and they said it was normal, on my way back home it was consistently shifting rough. I finally just pulled over shut the car off and started it up again. After doing so it shifted smoother but worse than it did before. On a separate occasion I was driving down the highway at a speed of 70 mph set on cruise when I tried to disengage the cruise control function and it would not disengage! I was going from a highway to a speed limit change and could not get it. Luckily I have read about this happening and shifted it into neutral and I was able to disengage it after that.

I have been having many issue with this car the latest issue which just happened my car wouldn't turn on and all the lights on the dash board would turn on the 'service transmission' 'serivce brakes' will turn and they would start flashing. When I would try to change gears my nobe would stay on park but the nobe would be turning! I would have to turn my car off and attempt to turn it back on then it would work. Now my brake is hard and my nobe will not turn my car stayed on neutral and now won't even turn on. Also before that the brakes system alert would go off from time to time. Other times my car would turn off out of nowhere. Overall my experience with this car has been bad.

Tamara recall I have a 200S model purchased brand new. I first started having issues with the car maybe 20,000K miles in. When the car is sitting in park the transmission slips and automatically goes into neutral, then forces the car to be set in park. At this point the car cannot be moved and just shows the check transmission light. This particular incident has happened 3 times. On numerous occasions the car has lost power while in motion, the car also struggles to go into the next gear almost daily. I have been to the same Chrysler that I purchased the car from numerous times. The first time my computer needed to be updated, the second time it was the transmission module, 3-5 it was an update now I'm back to the module acting up. The transmission light just came on again yesterday, I wake up today and the light is gone and of course Chrysler tells me the can't do anything without a code being present. I've lost so many days of work with this car it's ridiculous, and since the car holds no value I'm stuck with negative equity!!! please help
