While driving my 200 I lost control of my steering. The check engine light the steering warning light as well as my traction light. I could not turn my wheel at all.

Either myself or my wife have been driving our 200 and while driving it stalls outs. It has happened a number of times for just over a month now. Yesterday I was driving it and it made a bell sound and then I saw something flash about oil but it went off the screen pretty quick. I was slowing around a corner. This morning my wife was driving the 200 and stated that the vehicle stalled twice as she was coming up to stop signs.

The car engine keeps on stalling while it is in motion. The car suddenly stops while I am driving it. There are no warning lights, visual cues or sounds to indicate any problem. As a result, the car's power steering becomes inoperable. The speed of the car varies at the time of each incident. Each time this incident has happened, the car has become disabled in the middle of the street. There have been 5 incidents this past month. So far, the car has been able to restart after putting the car in park and after a couple of attempts of pushing the start button along with stepping on the brakes. It usually takes a couple of minutes. During that time, my car is in the middle of the street and in traffic. I have had my children in the car during some of these incidents. It is an extreme safety risk.

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that the transmission warning indicator was illuminated, and the vehicle hesitated and decelerated while driving. The failures occurred without warning. In addition, the air bag indicator was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to russell westbrook Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of van nuys (6110 van nuys blvd, van nuys, ca 91401, (818) 646-6908) to be diagnosed, but no failure was found. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who noticed that the engine was bare and changed the oil; however, the failure recurred later during the week. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The failure mileage was 46,000.

I was driving with my 3 year in the car on the garden state parkway, all the sudden the car suddenly stopped I and my daughter was almost crushed by a semi, I really wish this problem would be solved there are many issues about this on the internet. Please help guys this car is not safe at all!! driving down a major highway car staling and not starting.

I have had this car 3 months and the following this has happen numerous times over 10 and almost cost me my life along with family members. 1. while driving the vehicle the engine shuts off for no reason with no warning lights. I must put the car in park and put brake on to restart car and the engine just continue to turn over before it catches. The vehicle has stalled/shut -off on me going over a railroad track with me and my grandkids in the car. I am so blessed no train was coming. 2. while driving the car will also shift unexpected to neutral. 3. when I go to accelerate the car will hesitate and jerk and act like it may be stuck in between gears. I have taken the vehicle back to the dealership and the salesperson drove the car and it happen to him as he was driving and came back and said I can't tell you the problem but you do have a major problem it shut off on him as he was driving it on a major road. I have taken it to a shop left it over night and the mechanic states you have major problems with this car. It is unsafe to drive. All this problem with the car has been while the car was in motion on city streets and highway. All of this started January 4, 2019. The 2015 Chrysler 200 is a death trap and lemon!

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. While driving 55 mph, the vehicle began to decelerate. The contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road and powered off the engine. The vehicle was restarted and the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle shook and a loud ticking noise occurred under the hood. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence and was later taken to autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram & Fiat North phoenix (located at 16406 N 26th ave, phoenix, AZ 85023) where it was diagnosed that cylinder number six and the wire harness failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired due to the repair fees. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000.

Vehcile has several error lights that come and go. I cannot get Chrysler dealers in brevard, Florida to do warranty work. Everyone is in danger as the car is no longer safe. I have begged for tow ins, rentals and warranty diagnoses. I have begged for Chrysler to send a trained rep from out of town to investigate. This has gone on for years, now the below dealerships owns both the dealers in my region and refuse to do work to diagnoe per warranty at either. I had a free oil change package from Chrysler from a previous service related complaint. The dealer scheduled an appointment, I gave them all my info. I also ordered an expensive part to have installed, which is nonreturnable. I paid for and picked up part. Checked my car in. Then ross and craig, also ed O'donnell I was told were all texted by ross and upon checking in vehicle was told "sorry we will not service your vehicle or install your part. This has been an ongoing issue and I was also told by ed O'donnell on a previous complaint that I was welcomed to return. Did I mention the package expired shortly there after. Also shortly there after leaving the work they did previously, the symptoms now re present themselves. Ironically. Also, it was admitted by phone that they had backmoffice discussions with another dealer in the area gator Chrysler. I am now stuck with a part they will not install or refund. They will not change my oil or rotate tires. They will not fessmup to the vandalism of my vehicle that occurred on their lot in 2018. They have destroyed my car and now all kinds of engine lights come on to discredit me. Takata recall. The electrical system in this car has me afraid that if might catch a firer. The dashboard light brighten up and dims down at times. You push one button and it goes to another on the screen. I can not accept the yes to connect my phone on the screen, the engine is stalling when in motion on the highway and city streets.this car is lemon. I have only had it for 1 year and 9mths. There was a coolant leaking and every time they change the oil it was just refilled even after I brought it to there attention.there was a oil leaking around the oil housing and leaking to and over the motor and transmission. The U connect screen features does not work properly and can not update the radio

Vehicle shifts to neutral while driving and you have to pull over and shift it into park to start going again. Happens randomly, sometimes the dash will say AWD system needs servic. Weve taken it into the shop multiple times with no resolution. Concerned about divers safety! we bought this car used last year (2018) and have started having trouble about 2 weeks later. Pretty sure the previous owners traded it in for this reason.

On Saturday 29/9/2019 I was getting ready to go to work from fremont, ca to san jose, ca and my car wouldn't start. I had to press the push start several times to get it to start, . once it did start when I turned on the defroster it started shaking and turned off. I had to let it idle more than 15 minutes before it warmed up. I made it around the block about a quarter mile before I came to a stop sign and the car shut off. I managed to turn it back on and pull over. It continued to stall until I got back home. Since then it's been shaking when on idle and it jerks between gears. While on the 880 freeway the car will decelerate during peak traffic hours causing me to have to pull over to the slow lanes to avoid getting rear ended. I'm taking to the dealership for diagnostics.

The car stalls on my wife every day. She sitting at light or sitting in traffic. You can be driving on the freeway and without warning it cuts off. I am now the only Chrysler owner that is having this issue. This is going to cause a really bad accident, or maybe someone dieing dealing with this issue. I have been calling so see if there is a recall. I saw something on google and said there is a recall but when I call the dealer ship they say there is no recall. What is it going to take for us to get a recall on the 2015 Chrysler 200's engine stalling problem. This started happen back in October 2016.

The car has shuts off while driving. I bought the car used last year in March 2018. It had issues w/jerking between gears and "hopping", but several months ago, just shut off while driving 75 mph on a highway (twice in 15 mins). Dealership attempted to fix. But, its back to same problem. It shut off Tuesday while out of town at a hotel while pulling out onto a 5 lane road. Supposedly fixed, and then shut off on interstate 695 around baltimore last night while two lanes of traffic over. Shutting off with -0- warning while traveling on busy interstates is extremely dangerous and possible life threatening. Per research, this seems to be a major issue for this car, not sure why NHTSA has not recalled it yet.

The car dies in the middle of the road while driving. The engine stops, all the lights on the dash go out and there is no power steering or brakes. After about 5 minutes the car was able to start again.

Vehicle shut down at random after 1 month of driving when purchased April 2017 and has been stalling and randomly shutting down since. There has been two to three maintenance checks at two auto services including chysler. This problem has not ben fixed. I was deiving everytime it shutdown and the vehicle stalls while driving and sometimes when stationary.

I have had my the car completely cut of several times without warning. Recently as I was backing out of the drive way the car turned off while in motion and all lights went out. After about 5 minutes the car was able to start and I moved it back into the driveway. It is like it lost all power because the clock was no longer set to the correct time. That was on Monday 1/28/2019. Today as approaching a stop sign the same thing happened again. Without warning and no lights on the dash board. I have noticed that other cars within the same year have been recalled for similar issues but I have not received any notification. I would like my car looked at free of charge as this is a potentially dangerous situation. If I am in heavy traffic and the car just decides to turn off while in motion I can be seriously injured or killed. This is also not the first time I have filled this form out..
