200 S 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,000 miles

My 200S shudders when sitting still/taking off. It has a terrible rough idle in and out of gear. When putting it into drive or reverse, you have to hold down the brake with all you have in order to keep you from jolting forward or backward. Same thing happens when sitting still at a traffic light. The car, in general, makes a very unflattering sound. All in all, this seems to be an issue that hundreds of people are having (there was even another guy dropping off his 200 for the same reason when I was at the dealer). This is dangerous and needs to be addressed.

200 S 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 680 miles

The issue was actually NOT resolved with this second service visit. The dealership told me they could not verify a rough idle, but prior to doing any work on the vehicle they did a firmware update for the computer systems and this may have solved the issue with the rough idle. They also performed a recall repair that they told me 1 week prior did not apply to my vehicle when I mentioned it to them on my first service visit.
