First, there is the HVAC/windshield defrost. My concern with that condition is that my vehicle is my main source of travel and to have the HVAC to work properly in the summer is vital as well, as having a clear windshield. A breakdown at night, an accident, hitting a pole hole, something or someone would be far worse than a mere inconvenience. Incidentally, my intended use of the vehicle was made quite clear to the sales staff when I bought it. Second, and the matter of far greater concern to me is the transmission. Car making clucking noise, vibrating, jerking while shifting gears and launching while driving as if someone hit me from the back. Third, vehicle is only 2 years old and has had to have the drive shaft replaced. Which in return I've been without vehicle for more then 14 days and occur extra expenses of car rentals, tires and wheel alignment due to irregular wear. Fourth, hesitation on attempt to accelerate. I was informed that issue would be resolved with replacement of drive shaft. Defective drive shaft was the reason for delay and jerking. Fifth, excessive gas burning. I was informed that exist because of drive shaft. Once drive shaft was replaced it didn't resolve issue. I was giving a formula to calculate gas mileage, which was given to dealer. Car averaging 16mpg. Per car sticker fuel economy: Highway 29/ city 18. Car is driven mostly on highway without a lot of stop and go traffic. Our state's lemon law dictates that a vehicle carries a presumption that it is a lemon if a condition exists 'that is likely to cause death or serious bodily injury if the vehicle is driven and the nonconformity has been subject to repair two or more times by the manufacturer or its agents, and the buyer or lessee has at least once directly notified the manufacturer of the need for the repair of the nonconformity.'

While utilizing the uconnect 8.4 nav onboard navigation system driving on 1-94 toward Chicago, the gps system started giving wrong directions and shortly thereafter lost lock on where the vehicle was and the direction it was heading. At one point, the system told me to turn right at the exit and there was no exit. Fortunately, I was in daylight conditions and knew the directions to be in error. Had this not been the case, I.e driving at night in poor visibility and unfamiliar with the route, the results could have been far worse.

As I was driving the car stalled 6 times, its not a standard which is unusual. The only explanation the garage gave me was that its low on oil. Which makes no sense to me, I've researched it and alot of people at having similar issues. When the car stalled I lost control of the steering and the brakes. Luckily no one was in front of me. I stayed there in the middle of an intersection with a cop directing traffics around my car, until I could get it to start back up. When it started back up it ran good for about 10 minutes then it stalled again and I had it towed.

Out of no where after I took my car to the dealership I bought my car from and they said that there was an electrical issue that popped up... then after they ran scan a day or two later my check engine light comes on and then my car won't start... took it to a Chrysler dealership and they said all the problems I was having was because my battery but before that even happened my car was on 14 vollatages... had to pay for a new battery and only had the car a year

Purchased 2015 Chrysler 200 at 4:35 pm. Got on hwy 25 miles West going home I-70 West to bonner springs, the car started hesitating, I nearly got thrown off highway by 3 semis- adnd 2 trucks and cars behind me, let off horrible burning odor, and nearly threw my body out of the car, but I handled well. I got off I-70 to state avenue- runs parallel directions. Then, when I came to a number of lights- the engine revved up, like it was jerking motions. I paid it some attention, but was at a loss for words. I thought I was on a race track engines revved up, but I was not going to a race track. So, I came home- settled now down TO2:445 in the morning very shaken up. So, I notified the televisions news stations and the Kansas City star newspaper as we speak. I decided to read the "Chrysler 200 reviews, and I am sure you can pull them too. I just searched for Chrysler 200 reviews- and I read so many "exact" stories- I don't know what to say. I cannot sleep. This is the worst feeling I have ever had. Read the reviews. Help people live, and get rid of these cars. Just think, it has great leg room- I had plans for my nieces- to go to Texas, we cannot die at once. I am not ready to be buried- at least let me teach a few more months and years. Had it been snowing, I would be dead. My life has been turned up side down, since 4pm. It is not just me. Don;T let these people kill kids, my nieces could have died this weekend. I thought I was going to pick them up, but I am so shaken, I am ice cold all over. I pray to god- you will cease these vehicles at once. Please don;T let any more people drive these cars- and please show these on face the nation on channel 5 cbs stations. Thank-god- my nieces are alive. I am so glad to be home. I plan to get a police escort to the dealership 9/12/2017. I have had so much trouble finding honesty. God bless us.

The car is shutting of while driving in traffic; no warning signs are on and care gives no warning. I purchased the vehicle used on January 2015 from russ darrow in milwaukee, wi and they are not being any help this is truly a safety issue for myself and other vehicles on the road with me. This happened to me 4 times now within the past 48hors and once while I was on the freeway.I looked online at other makes and models in different the same state and different states by customers driving the same vehicle and the exact same issue as my vehicle this is scary and dangerous because this could the cause of a deadly accident. The vehicle gives no warning its bout to shut off I feel like this matter should be taking seriously and look into these vehicles she be done. This is scary and especially when your using the vehicle to Transport your young children. Please look at this complaint and others driven this vehicle because Chrysler seems to not care about the safety of there consumers

Tamara inflators: I was driving my car when I notice that it didn't want to go no more then 20 miles per hour so I was able to go to a friends house then I try to turn the car back on and it wouldn't turn on like if my battery was dead took the battery to get it check and it was charged so it wasn't my battery my check engine light would come on my car sometimes it jerk sometime it would take off fast and I would press on the gas and it wouldn't go... right now I have the car at the dealer ship cause it lost power... note: I was driving at the time my car would only go 20 miles per hour I was on a busy street I had to pull my car to the side and drive it to the closes place to stop and check it out...I had car behind me honking it was a nightmare

I went to leave in my car and it wouldnt start, the car put its self in neutral and would not move. The emergency break light came on and the engine light came on. Car still wouldn't start. After 3 hours the car startes and was back in park. The engine and parking light was and still is on. There has been recalls on 2015 Chrysler 200's for this issue. But not mine!!!!

I have a engine light on that is regarded to a active grill shutter. I have had the dealer look at it and they say the motor has gone bad and needs to be replace. Car has 47K miles on it!!!!!! nope not covered under warranty. Today I get in my car and my air bag light comes on and says to service air bag system. While driving the light will come on and go off about every 2 miles.

This Chrysler 200 MY2015 suddenly fails transmission indicating AWD not available and fails to accelerate. Works back sometime for few minutes after stop and start engine again. When it did it would sputter and then stall. 06/09/17. Check engine light came on code P2172 for throttle actuator control system and the car would not let me accelerate past 32 mph. One of the possible issues would be an open or short in the wire harness. This is something that is discussed in the R24 recall however, my VIN is not on the list yet. This is an extremely unsafe vehicle and it needs to be addressed immediately. I'm confident that there are more than enough people to begin a class action suit. If I have to post on here again and add accident, injury, or death. The lawsuit will hold a very different meaning.

This car is a death trap I purchased it April 19, 2017 27K miles haven't made my first payment yet and the car is about to kill me. Engine stalling while on the highway right in front of an 18 wheeler I lost acceleration and car cut off. Car jerks back and forth very hard then tells me to put it in park and restart numerous times. Sometimes doing so doesn't start the car until after a few tries. This car will cut off lose speed and nearly break your neck driving rather you are at a low or high speed going up or down hill. Took it to Chrysler they don't seem to know what's wrong with it they kept my car still to say they don't know what's going on with it. There's no lights that are popping on and no warning before it happens please do not buy this car. I've been losing acceleration on the highway and just driving through the city.
