On November 21, 2020, the 7th day I purchased my car from car max, I drove my car from tx to ar. Nearly halfway to ar the dashboard lights started flickering and went off and on several times. I could not believe it has it during the day time. Once I arrived in ar, the dashboard continued to flicker but there were no error messages on the dashboard to indicate a problem. Later that night, I drove to the store and in the store parking lot the car quit on me after the lights flickered several times!!! I am livid! I have a 5-year old daughter in the car with me! what if the car stops on the highway" why hasn't Chrysler fixed this issue? I'm just now reading about this issues with numerous car owners!!! I desire to have this investigated and fixed immediately! if something we're to happened to my child and I would that not be horrible" things like this should not exists as this is dangerousssssss!!! our lives are at stake and I do not appreciate that!

Shortly after driving the vehicle after start up, it stalls and begins to quickly slow down. No warning lights, or check engine light. Once you get it stopped and restart it, it does the same thing about 3-7 miles down the road. Then it won't do it at all for the rest of the day. This has caused dangerous situations. No codes to go on for a possible problem. This model has han many many complaints for this same problem, and I believe recalled before for it, but a check of recalls for this VIN shows no un-repaired recalls. I do not know what to do at this point. Vehicle has just under 60,000 miles and is in very good condition. Dealer has stated that without codes showing up, and or witnessing the problem they really can't do anything about it. This has happened during busy traffic and caused cars to almost hit me from behind when mine stalls and slows down from no power. Luckily I have been in areas that have a shoulder to move onto. I honestly do not think I am being told everything about this problem from the dealership, because from researching it on line, I have found thousands of complaints this very same problem, and nobody seams to have a clear answer for it that I can find. On August 23rd, I was taking my sister in law back home from our house. On the way back from her house I decided to wash my 15 Chrysler 200. When I as done with that task and got back in the car. I noticed my brakes wouldn't disengage. I tried to do the maintenance release through the car's radio and it wouldn't let me do it. This is the first time I had any problem with the car. So I then tried to turn off and on the car and that didn't work. So then I thou maybe if I drove it, they would release and just as I hit 45mph, they did. And started to preform normally. An hour later, I stopped by my mother-in-law house to take car of her dogs like I've been doing for the last few days and when I was ready to leave. The car battery died. I'm not quite sure how cause I don't leave my lights on ever. And I sat there to wait for someone to tow it to the store with car battery and had them switched. They came to tell me that they couldn't get the car out of gear. So I went out there to see what was wrong and they were right. The car was running fine but I couldn't get it to change gears. On my dashboard. My small screen said to service the park brake and I thought, what that the brakes got to do with it's transmission. I looked and saw my mileage, 93,568, was blinking and my gear indicator as N. I'm pretty sure that the car was in park the hole time they where changing out the battery. The shifter nob was able to turn but I wasn't changing the gear either. So after that, I released the parking brake, that's somehow made the care show it was in drive, and had it towed back to my mother-in-law house.

While driving that various speeds, the vehicle jerks while the accelerator pedal is depressed but the vehicle fails to accelerate. Also I noticed the vehicle didn't come with rubber on the accelerator pedal it was completely metal and my foot was sliding while driving so I contacted the dealership and tried to get it replaced but they said that is was a cost saving issue and there was nothing they could do about it since none of the cars came with this so I purchased a stainless steel pedal cover kit but I'm still having issues while driving with the accelerator on this vehicle while on the freeway because it hard accelerator at high speeds without the grip of the rubber.

On May 15, 2020 while attempting to back out of a parking spot at the post office my car dinged at me. The dash notification told me to pull over in safe spot, park car, and shift into park, and service shifter light came on. I was only 2 miles from my home so I proceeded home and called the dealership service center. I explained the issue and they told me to bring it in. I asked if it was okay to drive and they said yes. I scheduled to take it in the following morning. The mechanic looked at it and asked me if I had changed the transmission. No same transmission as was in it when I bought it. They tried telling me that the software did not match the transmission and needed a software update, which they did and allegedly retested it. Everything fine now they said. Yesterday, June 9, 2020, I was driving home from work and the car started dinging at me. The transmission light came on and dash notification to service transmission. The car starting losing power and did not want to move with the transmission wanting to shift into neutral. Came to stop light and car did not want to move. I had cars behind me that almost hit me because my car shifted to neutral. It started moving then shifted from drive to neutral. I was able to get it home (only 1 mile) and tried to back it into driveway. Dash said to shift into park and then desired gear so I did. Nothing!!!! it would not register reverse. I was in the middle of the street blocking an oncoming car. I was able to get it register neutral and it rolled back so the car could get past me. After turning the car off and back on it finally registered reverse and I got it in the driveway. Call dealership to tell them. They say no recall, nothing wrong. Seriously"?" this is a recall issue even if my VIN isn't listed as they claim. The car shifts to neutral as you are driving down the road. Fix this issue and recall all of them.

I purchased my car at the end of September 2017. About two weeks later my car just shut off in the middle of a busy intersection. I called baxter and explained my problem and icalleda tow truck. Later that day baxter called me back to inform me that my car had multiple recalls.they fixed the recalls and my car was good for awhile. I then started having a issue where my car would jerk hard when I would come to a stop. After I start researching my make and model of my car I start to read that just about every make and model and year of my car has the same issue. I call baxter again to make an appointment and explain what I read to them and they call me back and now say it's my battery. I get my car back it's still having the same problem. Expect now my car will just randomly shut off when I'm driving. They tell me to come back when I have drove it 1,000 miles. I did not wait 1,000 miles because I nanny and drive people's children in my car and it's completely unacceptable that my car shuts off when I drive and my transmission slips. I keep making appointments and finally they say it's my transmission so they have my car for about a week to put a new transmission in my car. My transmission still slips and it feels like someone is slamming into the back of me when I come to a stop. I have called baxtor multiple times since a new transmission has been put in and they tell me there is nothing more they can do with my vehicle and that the Chrysler association told them to not perform anything else on my car because this is normal for my car to do this.
