I know this is a common problem with the Chrysler 200 so it should be a recall. This is a huge safety issue it happened while driving in a roundabout and people could have rear ended me.

Car stops while driving it. Very dangerous. Happened twice with this vehicle almost causing an accident which could have been fatal. Engine stopped while car was going 45 mph in heavy traffic. Having it towed to a Chrysler dealer on the 10th of September is as soon as someone can look at it. This car only has 55,000 miles on it and should not be happening. Car has been well maintained and is still being financed.

My Chrysler 200 year 2015 and while driving it on the freeway it will mot get the speed up. The mist it goes is about 60 miles per hour and this is when im already on the freeway. When entering the freeway it goes in very slowly I push gas pedal and it won't go past 40 miles per hour. Also at any time while driving it, it starts pulling itself like if it wants to turn off while driving. I feel this us very dangerous for me and my family. I have changed spark plugs and coils and it continues to nit function correctly.

Transmission issues for almost a year. I have explained them to the dealership who refuses to document. I purchased this car new the summer of 2015. It had sealants misssing from the manufacture and so it had a leak that resulted in the dealership having my car for 2 months and me having to force them to replace my carpeting they let sit in the sun for 2 weeks and mold and to replace parts in my car that they broke the clips on trying to find the leak. Several times they called me to come and get my car with mold in it and parts still hanging. I had to get managers involved. I came to get an oil change once and they sent me out onto the street without tightening the lugs and I was wobbling down the street and they lied and said the pressure was off balance. Once my car shut off with no oil it. They said it's likely the engine. My tire pressure has been saying its low since about a week after purchasing the car. Soon as I put air in, less than 24 hours its low. The windshield wipers have always sounded extremely loud. I had a thermometer go out before 3 yrs old. I barely have 30,000 miles on my car right now. Now my car wouldn't stay on when I tried to take it out of park in my driveway thurs. It stalled for a second to start up then it wouldn't come back on. I tried several times until it cranked up like normal, but then it refused to switch gears saying check transmission and park sense and to put back in park then shift gears. After that I had to have my battery charged to crank. The next day I had to get a boost. My battery and alternator tested good, but the check engine light is now on mentioning a throttle sensor and watchdog performance. Dealership claims my battery is bad. I again told them my transmission wasn't sensing correcrtly and switching gears cuts my car off sometimes. The technician says I need to pay $428 to have them replace my "bad" battery first.

5/30/19 I purchased my car from gage auto sales in Oregon. On 06/01/19 I was left stranded on the side of the road because it would not start. I had to have the car towed to the dealership. On 6/2 dealership said there were no starting issues and no codes and I could pick up the car. Starting issues progressively got worse. Leaving me stranded many times. Check engine light came on 6/23/19. 6/24/19 took car back to the dealership which they had until 07/12/19 stating is was the key fob and push start button. One week it ran fine then rapidly began to not start, check engine lights came on along with transmission lights. The car has been a lemon since day one. The dealership has sent me to a third party mechanic and are telling me the transmission is not covered under my extended warranty. This car had these problems the day after I bought it. It was defective when I purchased it and no one at gage auto sales will help me. I am 23 years old trying to make it on my own and there is no way I can pay 1500 to re-program the transmission. Please help me!

2015 Chrysler 200S transmission failures. Numerous times the gear would slip from drive to neutral while at stoplights. The dashboard would instruct me to shift into park the choose desired gear. That's if I'm lucky and the shift knob doesn't lock, preventing me from shifting into park or any other. Numerous times it has disengaged from drive to neutral while driving on the highway at speeds ranging from 55 mph to 70 mph. Having find a way to the shoulder with no power while activating the hazard lights has proven quite disturbing to maneuver through traffic. Several times it has slipped out of drive while going through intersections leaving me disabled in the middle of busy roads at the mercy of oncoming traffic, hoping they brake in time. It has nearly been the cause of several wrecks having loss of power, steering wheel becomes hard to turn and I've nowhere to turn off of road for lack of shoulder or curbs creating obstacles. Regardless of where it occurs, if the shift knob is locked, the car is not budging. It is locked in the transmission preventing any way of pushing it. I can't drive my son anywhere for fear it could result in something I'd rather not think of.

I know at least 8 other people besides myself who has recently had the same issue of their car stalling and now their air and my air is not working. In this tx heat this is unacceptable especially when I have to travel with my children. In my instance I was driving my car on the city street. After driving the car 30 minutes or more and I turn it off, it will not restart for another 30 minutes or more. It had left me stranded as well as caused me to be late for work jeapordizing my job and my safety. The car has been to 2 different dealers and they cannot find anything wrong. I cannot trade it in because the blue book value is less than what I owe. I feel that Chrysler should compensate me for this vehicle by buying it back at the price I paid. 2015 Chrysler 200 limited when accelerating from park the car is reving to 3rd and 4th but going slowly getting stuck between those two gears then jerking and giving dragging affect after. While on the highway or street car drags after stopping and then accelerating. Var feels as if it is fishtailing and the wheels are getting stuck for a mibute before it jerks back into place. Air bag sensor goes on and off from time to time. When it comes on it will sometimes stay on for days sometimes weeks at a time. Oil changes have been done regularly. Juat started happening on 6/19/2019. Car seems to pull and vibrate even harder when the A/C unit is on. Car also has a hard vibrating noise under hood. Miles:93,800 transmission is under warranty until 100,000 miles no check engine light has came on as of yet.
