Got in my car try to start the battery is dead I had someone come and jump it when I got in the car after he jumped the the car I couldn't move the car out of neutral

Turned onto destination street and upon paring, engine light started flashing, then smoke started, got out of vehicle, fire started and attempted to put out fire with extinguisher, called 911.

At approximately 1002 hours the driver pulled off of the ramp from hwy 41 turning right onto hwy 60 West. While on the ramp of hwy 41 the vehicle appeared to be exerting black smoke from what appeared to be under the hood of the vehicle. Driver pulled over immediately after seeing black smoke. Driver then turned off the vehicle and exited. Driver then called msg urban (rrb ncoic) to inform her that the vehicle was smoking. After exiting and walking away from the vehicle at approximately 1005 hours driver observed the vehicle start on fire and proceeded to call 911. At approximately 1008 hours a slinger police officer arrived at the scene, along with a Washington county sheriff and the slinger fire department. Driver was traveling at a speed of 8 or below due to pulling off to the side of the highway. This incident occurred in daylight, weather conditions were sunny and fair.

The car dies in the middle of the road while driving. The engine stops, all the lights on the dash go out and there is no power steering or brakes. After about 5 minutes the car was able to start again.

Vehicle shut down at random after 1 month of driving when purchased April 2017 and has been stalling and randomly shutting down since. There has been two to three maintenance checks at two auto services including chysler. This problem has not ben fixed. I was deiving everytime it shutdown and the vehicle stalls while driving and sometimes when stationary.

I have had my the car completely cut of several times without warning. Recently as I was backing out of the drive way the car turned off while in motion and all lights went out. After about 5 minutes the car was able to start and I moved it back into the driveway. It is like it lost all power because the clock was no longer set to the correct time. That was on Monday 1/28/2019. Today as approaching a stop sign the same thing happened again. Without warning and no lights on the dash board. I have noticed that other cars within the same year have been recalled for similar issues but I have not received any notification. I would like my car looked at free of charge as this is a potentially dangerous situation. If I am in heavy traffic and the car just decides to turn off while in motion I can be seriously injured or killed. This is also not the first time I have filled this form out..

When I'm driving my car it puts itself in neutral. Either from reverse to drive, at a stop sign, accelerating on highway. It's not a current issue it does it when it wants and its not safe but every dealership tells me there is "nothing" wrong with my car I've been fighting with dealerships since I bought the car of the show room floor, and the problem still isn't fixed and with a baby on the way I refuse to put our child in it with how unsafe it is.

I've had to have the thermostat replaced twice within the time I've owned this vehicle. Once under warranty at low mileage once at 58,600 miles I've never had issues with replacing the thermostat in this short frequency of time. I'm having to pay over $400 to replace a thermostat which was already replace by Chrysler. An investigation into faulty Chrysler parts needs to be opened and a recall issued.

On 9/16/18, vehicle died and would not start. After several attempts, it started, then while driving down the road, vehicle lost all electrical power and came to a stop in the middle of traffic. Car was towed to dealer where they trouble shooted for several days trying to reproduce the electrical power failure. They found a services bulletin about electrical connection and replaced wiring harness. Over the next several months I noticed my vehicle felt like the transmission was slipping. As time went on, I realized it wasn't a slipping, but a hard shift. The vehicle would also loose power upon acceleration to merge into traffic or changing lanes. This was very scary, but at times it seemed as if the vehicle might lose complete power and die while in heavy highway speed traffic. On 10/11/2018 while having my vehicle oil changed, I asked the technician to drive the vehicle to confirm what I was feeling with the transmission. The technician agreed that the transmission was in fact not shifting or functioning properly. I obtained a quote to have the transmission serviced. The technician advised have the transmission flushed/serviced might help, but often times flushing can cause symptoms to worsen. I opted to not have the transmission flushed/serviced at that time and planned to take my vehicle into the dealer after the holidays. It is now the the 3rd week in December and just this week the hard shifting and loss of power when the vehicle downshifts to merge into highway speed traffic has worsened significantly. I phoned the Chrysler dealer today and spoke with my service advisor to schedule an appt. I am to call back on Wednesday 12/26 to reserve a courtesy vehicle and schedule appt. To drop my vehicle off on 12/27/2018

I can be driving it down the road it will shut it’'s self off. Will not start for about 15 to 20 minutes. This happend last night and when it did I was rear ended. When it does this the breaks lock up no matter how hard U push on them they won’T budge. Also it will try to start but the engine cranks at a really low speed but after awhile takes off. Also if you let it warm up it runs jus fine sometimes. Had it put on machine was told it was a map sensor replaced it and still got the same problem. Changed battery in key fob and car battery and still doing the same thing. Seen numerous people on here having the same issue. After replacing all that took to put back on a machine and was told I can’T help you cause it’'s not throwing any codes what do I do I got a car that I still owe almost 14,000 dollars on that is unsafe to be driving. The car does this when it’'s being driven can let set for hours and stays running but I can’T even make it 3 blocks without it dying and not starting back up for awhile. It’'s pathetic as for the date at the bottom that says when did this happen I’ll put it like this it happens every time I try to go anywhere it should be recalled and properly fixed.

Takata recall, I own a 2015 Chrysler 200S only 40K miles. Sometimes when I'm driving it pops up warnings for my transmission then vegans driving horrible. I hit the gas it stalls, dies, it is very dangerous. Then next day back to normal.
