Since I brought the car my air bag light has been on and I can not figure out why, brought the car when it was still fairly new so im confused on why the airbag light was on and is still on.

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 200. While driving at any speed, the air bag warning indicator illuminated, which was a safety concern. The contact also stated that the vehicle jerked, made loud noises, and accelerated without warning. In addition, the contact stated that the vehicle decelerated when making a turn. The vehicle was taken to thomas Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram (9604 indianapolis blvd, highland, in 46322, 219-924-6100) where it was diagnosed that the air bag and the steering wheel control module needed to be repaired. The contact was sent back to the independent mechanic from where the vehicle was purchased. The independent mechanic informed the contact that the vehicle was sold 'as is' and referred the contact to a muffler shop to repair the air bag and the steering. The contact stated that the air bag and the steering were repaired, but she was not informed of what was completed to repair the failures. The failures recurred a month later. The contact called the dealer back and was informed to go back to the seller. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failures. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.

Takata recall when I received vehicle on February 2017 I was already in mechanical shop by March 16 2017 my car was throwing itself it self into park while driving down the road. My car also stalls when leaving a stop then jolts while going I have had to avoid a lot of accidents because of this. Chrysler fixed the defected power distribution center thinking it would fix stalling but stalling continued. Recently when I got up for work one morning I noticed my passenger air bag light on and took it to the dealership and they said my hornets was deffected

The "service airbag system" warning light comes on regularly. I have had the car to the dealer 5 times for repair. Wires and a sensor have been replaced but the problem has returned. My last visit they said it wouldn't happen for them and there was nothing more they could do unless I return with the light on. The problem happens regularly but intermittently while driving. Takata recall, . I purchased this car used a year ago, within a month the service airbag light came on. I took it to dealer and they said the was the olug under the seat and reset the computer. He said to keep the area below the passenger seat clear so the plug doesn't get moved. A month later the service airbag light came back on. I can't keep bringing it into the shop. Now I have to inspect the car and it fails because of the stupid airbag. It's costing me money and time. This model needs to have a recall done for safety.
