This is not the first time. Car does not go into Park mode, instead it gets stuck in accessory mode and you can not start the car. Is 9 shift transmission and it was only running between 2 to 4. Another new battery this year. Computer was wiped. Shows no codes as of yesterday evening but driving it down the road it clearly is not shifting properly. Numerous calls to Chrysler this week but they do not care about their customers. I feel there has to be deaths before they will do anything, if anything. They promise reimbursement for rental. Good Luck with that link. Last Chrysler Product I will ever buy and I have been in their products for many years. It’s not the only issue as 46 codes popped up. To hook to that machine is costly but you can’t get around it. This model is a definite lemon. Otherwise it is a nice car.

Where do I start... OK setting at a stop light on a hill took my foot off brake started going backwards hit the brake. Took it in to Chrysler they flashed the transmission. OK a week later all hell broke loose, lights flashing, put park brake on, service transmission, you get the picture.... OK part three: took it in. New transmission. This is no lie, one week to the day back to the shop it goes with the same warnings. Set parking brake service transmission on. 10/10 /15 took it in. Now Chrysler tells me something about a harness that they have to replace. The f' ed up part about it is they don't have any in stock and as soon as Chrysler release them that will contact me. Four times is the charm I hope before I get killed or hurt up really bad. Thank you for reading..

My 200C AWD let me down big time this afternoon. While sitting at a red light suddenly my dash lit up with the red "Service Transmission" message then "Shift to P then Desired Gear" and "Service Park Brake". I wasn't able to shift at all, the selector would stay in "P" or the light on the selector would go from "P" to "S" directly bypassing "N" and "D" with just one twist but the car would stay in Park. I tried restarting the car a few times with no success.

After calling Chrysler roadside assistance and starting to wait an unknown amount of time for a tow I decided to try a electronic "reboot" by disconnecting the negative terminal in the battery. After leaving it off for a couple of minutes then reconnecting I was able to restart and shift the transmission into "D" and get moving again. My check engine light is now illuminated and I am really concerned it will happen again. I have an appointment to take it in on Thursday (2 days). I am wondering if this is part of the recall that was just issued which includes my car. Will update after I learn more.
