200 Limited 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 21,000 miles

I leased the 2015 Chrysler 200 for three years. It had a couple of recalls, which is typical for almost any vehicle, but the thing that kept me from buying after my lease was that the front wheel bearings started going out around 19000 miles or so. It started as a faint, whirring noise between 35 and 50 mph, then turned into a thumping sound around the same speeds. It was replaced under warranty, so I have no beef about that, but it made me doubt the car's overall dependability for the long run.

200 S 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 800 miles

800 miles on a brand new car and the wheel bearing goes out? That is really bad manufacturing. I have bought Chrysler and Dodge for the last 15 years and I have never had any problems. I have decided that I will not buy another Chrysler product. In 2 months this car has been in the garage 3 times. NOT GOOD!
