Our 2016 Chrysler 200 has roughly 6000 miles on it. Never had any problems up until one day the brakes wouldn't work. first the emergency brake engaged itself while driving and slowed the car down. When we pulled over, turned the car off and restarted it, it seemed fine. As we were driving off, thinking everything is okay, the brakes give out completely and make this car unstoppable. Luckily nothing happened and we roll out. we slowly creep up our driveway and put the car in park, but it wont stop. we had to use the emergency brake and pray the car wont crash into our house. The car was towed to the dealership and all nobody told us anything, nor did we get a loaner, because they wanted us to pay for it. So we contacted Chrysler, and they finally shed some light onto this and got us a rental, after they had problems getting a hold of this dealership as well. Catastrophic Brake Failure. The system had to be replaced completely. The Manufacturer wants to pay our car note for this month, which makes me suspicious. We pick the car back up today, lets see...

2 weeks ago my park brake light came on. I was able to fix that issue but now I have a hard brake pedal with the car on and I am in the process of replacing the brake booster. I am honestly surprised that there are no recalls on the Chrysler 200 line for this issue let alone all of the other issues that other users have reported with this make and model.
