was driving and pulling in next to garage heard a loud pop and brake pedal when hard and could not stop the car and hit the side of the garage. safty issue is if i was at a higher speed and light turns red would not have been able to stop the car and would have hit another car or person, there was no warning lights on till after the pop when the red brake light came on, and said service eltric brakes it has been looked at by me and it has the same iisues that the dodge dart had for the recall r63 with the brake booster geting oil in it from the vacuum tube assembly have called chrysler and they said it is not and issue but it is a safty issue

I believe the brake or something related to the brakes failed. I ran a stop sign, with no evidence of brake marks on the road. I crossed over a highway hit a side walk almost hit a house. The safety of myself and others was at extreme danger. When finally came to a stop I couldn't put my car in Park, or back in drive or shut my car off, i beleive i had no braking or something electrical failed. My car is totaled. 2 weeks ago on approximately May 14th I was backing out of my drive way and my brake pedal was hard and I was barely able to stop my car. It takes approximately 3 to 4 car lengths to fully stop at 10 mph. I replaced the brakes and bled the brakes properly but I have come to the conclusion that the brake booster has gone bad. My safety and others is at risk due to the length of time it takes to stop and the lack of stopping power. I am unable to take it to a dealer as it doesn't run at the present time. While in motion the parking break can engage at any speed and it's placement on the car itself is dangerous and jerks the car if pressed while moving therefor could cause extreme harm. For the safety of myself, any or all passengers, or drivers nearby, in the event of an accident it needs to be moved to a location that isn't not easily reachable and also not allowed to even remotely engage while moving. I only occurred whiplash and my fast thinking and luck of having the room to slow down, but otherwise it is highly dangerous and it should never engage U less the brakes are being pressed and definitely not at speeds up to or over the speed limits.

So I had my foot on the brake to punch in a number at the car wash and all of the sudden the brake did something but my car started rolling while it was in drive with my foot on the brake so and then the brake light came on and I had to like literally push the brake all the way down to the floorboard and I would take it out of gear and it would just roll with my foot on the brake so I take it to the mechanic the service Chrysler center where the car was purchased and they say it's the brake booster I went and got a second opinion because the brake booster rarely ever something that needs replaced especially on a 2016 vehicle and if it does it's only on vehicles that are over 150,000 miles or an older vehicle so I took it to another mechanic to get a second opinion and they said that it was the vacuum line to brake booster needed to be upgraded bc oil is leaking into booster and the dealership should've did that before it was sold to me and that it should be a recall and it's going to cost $717 which I cannot afford especially during this pandemic because I'm not an essential worker and I do not receive unemployment and there's only 29,000 miles on the vehicle.

Car had been parked for about 5 hours. When I went to restart car made a noise like it was struggling to start. Turned car off and check oil appears to be full. Went to restart car and it would not restart. Multiple attempts were made to start car and while all lights and beeping came on car would not start again over a 15 min period. Can not push break down and when push the start button nothing happens. Car has also stalled out multiple times while driving in the last year. Chrysler dealership states its due to oil and it appears car is burning oil very fast. Chrysler states that the car will not start due to a safety mechanism to not allow the engine to overheat due to low oil. As oil has appeared full and checked multiple time unsure as to why the car would do this.

My car was driving just fine until I went to reverse out of the parking spot I was parked in. I pushed the brake down to release the emergency brake and all of a sudden my brake got harder to push down. It displays on my screen the 'brake' is on but it's not.
