2005 300 limited has a throttle and engine problems. When the consumer test drove the vehicle he told the salesperson about the vehicle rough idle. The salesperson said to drive the vehicle for about 1000 miles to work the bugs out of the engine. If that didn't work he was told to bring the vehicle back and the problem would be fixed under the vehicles warranty. The vehicle was returned to the dealer at 1700 miles. The dealer flashed the computer but the rough idle was still present. The flash created a high idle, lunging and popping sound when putting the vehicle in park. The vehicle also shook when turning the vehicle off. When the vehicle was driven over 30 mph the throttle would not ease down when the consumer foot was removed from the accelerator pedal. The consumer had to ride the brakes to slow the vehicle down.

Bought a Chrysler 300 touring on March 3,2004 I've had the following problems: 12-09-04 recall D50 radiator isolator brackets, recall D51 antifreeze concentration level, noise coming from dash around the defroster advised nothing could be done for rattling. Engine light comes for a few days then goes off. Unknown reasons. 12-18-04 passenger air bag light stays on - system recalibrated. 12-21-04 passenger air bag light on a second time - system recalibrated a second time. 10-12-05 VIN number covered by dashboard - cut a rearranged pad problem corrected. 12-22-05 driver side airbag light stays on - circuit 1 code clock spring defect - replaced clock spring. 12-23-05 driver side air bag light on a second time. Had to wait until after christmas for service. Told by dealership (Dodge country, tx) they would not provide a rental car which is a part of the warranty because the vehicle is operative and would not be responsible if the air bags accidentally deploys while operating the vehicle. Vehicle parked until 12-30-05 clock spring replaced a second time. 1-18-06 rear drivers side window would not roll down 50% of the time. Loud squeaking and rattling sound coming from rear of vehicle. ABS and electronic stability light on. Vehicle can't be seen for service until 1-23-05 by dealership. Vehicle parked until dealership can pick it up.

2005 Chrysler 300 C has a documented history of stalling since taking ownership of vehicle. Vehicle has stalled multiple times while driving. Dealership has attempted to reprogram the powertrain control module, clean the combustion chambers, and replace the manifold absolute pressure sensor; problem still exists. After the most recent occurrence of stalling I was unable to restart the vehicle. I took a video of the attempts to restart the vehicle as the dealership has never been able to duplicate the issue. I have also contacted Chrysler customer relations and they have stated that there is nothing they can do since the dealership cannot duplicate the issue even though I have shown the dealership the video of the stall / non-start issue. Vehicle has approximately 29,000 miles.

The contact stated when the check engine light illuminated the vehicle started shaking, loses power, and noise came from the engine. This occurred at various speeds. The first time the vehicle was taken for repairs the dealership could not duplicate the problem. The second time, they replaced the spark plugs, cleaned the fuel system, and the valve. The dealer repaired the vehicle in the same manner when the problem returned the third time. The problem has not recurred.

The contact stated vehicle stalled at stop signs and red lights, and while driving at 45 mph. The steering wheel locked and then the car died. The vehicle has been to the dealership twice for stalling. The dealer did a diagnostic and could not find the cause of the problem. The problem seemed to be intermittent. She contacted Chrysler, and they said that she needed to call customer service at her dealership; they could not be any help with any information. If the problem continued she would have to take it back to the dealer. The stalling happened five times.
