running hot and car stalls. car is shut off before it run ht
This 2005 Chrysler 300 has been trying to run hot for months. I have spent well over $6000 on parts and labor trying to fix the problem. I took it to the Galena Chrysler dealership and they did poor diagnosis saying that I need another engine. The car was pressure tested and everything so not sure what the problem is. Then after all of that my car gets broken into on the Chrysler dealers lot and radio, items in car, rims and all get stolen. The dealer say they aren't responsible. I still had to pay the bill to get my out of the shop. Had to get more wheels to put on the car so I could drive it on the tow truck. The least they could have done was to offer to fix the issues. I was speeding down freeway in middle lane during rush hour and all control of car died, brakes, steering, lights, luckily the car behind me was able to swerve before hitting me and I was at a dead stop. I started car again as quick as I could and moved on. This has happened at least 5 times so I now drive in right lane so that I can glide to a stop.
This also happened in town as I went to start car from parking spot and pull into traffic, I was turning left out of traffic on a side street and rolled into curb to stop because brakes, steering and whole electrical system was off again.
My key ring has only the key and a small key for my desk, nothing to cause it to bang or cause problems.
I can hardly believe no one from a Chrysler 300 has complained about this deadly problem. When I called the dealership in Brookfield they said this problem was not on the recall list for replacement.
I could be dead today because of this defect if the cars behind me had not had such alert drivers at 65 miles per hour and were able to miss me, powerless in rush hour traffic.

I have been going to the dealer since I brought the car. The first problem was the steering angle sensor, window motor replace, replace rear bumper clips and also the paint in peeling on the car

I have owned this 2005 chrysler 300 hemi about 3mths. The car is in excellent condition. All REG maintenance has been done. I was driving after doing my errands, go off highway and car dies at stop sign. After waiting I could get car to turn over but would not run right, very rough. I had the car checked and the ignition coil and cyl. 4 and 6 are misfiring. So when I checked into all this I find out it is very common? !!! What. I spent a lot of money on this car. I can't believe a car company would allow this without fixing the problem. I've read on the internet how common this is. Wow, something needs to be done.
