I have a 2005 Chrysler 300C with a potential catastrophic defect. During a routine service check, I informed the service manager that I detected an odor of gasoline at the rear of the car. During the inspection, I was informed that the gas tank was leaking from the seams and that he would not allow me to drive the vehicle until the gas tank was replaced at my expense.
