Ever since I purchased my 2005 Chrysler 300 there has been a recurring air bag light issue. I had the seat sensor replaced under warranty at a local dealership, but this did not fix the problem. I took the car back several times, but I was told that it had been fixed and there was nothing else they could do. I also called Chrysler and voiced my concern over this issue. I stated that I was concerned that the air bag would not deploy if the car is in an accident. Chrysler basically told us that the sensor had been replaced so there was nothing else they could do. I told them that if I was ever in an accident and the passenger air bag did not deploy, I would file a lawsuit against them. I have seen similar complaints regarding this issue. Why is this problem not being addressed. There should be a recall to fix this before somebody gets seriously hurt!

The contact stated the air bag light flashed on and off intermittently. The vehicle was taken to a certified dealership four times. With diagnostic testing, the problem could not be duplicated. Also, she stated the gear position indicator showed park but the vehicle rolled backwards. No repairs have been made.

Airbag indicator light came on and stayed on and I was told that the airbag sensor was faulty which means it could go off at anytime for no reason or if in an accident it could not go off at all.

The car has been in repair shop 7 times for the air bag light being on. Dealer claimed air bag light was fixed. But as soon as the consumer left the dealership the light came back on. Dealership keeps putting the consumer on hold, and will not call back. If the steering wheel is tilted the air bag light comes on. Owner has had problems with the car since he bought it. Also, brakes have a been a problem, as well as the sun roof.

2005 Chrysler 300C. The passenger air bag will only arm at random intervals, with no discernible pattern. The dealer is unable to correct the situation and the factory does not seem to have a fix. I have written to the president of Chrysler and spoken to the factory and they have offered no satisfaction.
