I purchased a Chrysler 300 AWD in July 2006. This was a new vehicle. Within the first 3 weeks (I had not even made a payment yet)the transmission line broke and left me stranded.
The next issue I had was approximately two months later the engine was burning oil at a rate of two quarts every 10-12 days. The car was then brought in for the AC/heating because the AC would freeze every thing up and the radio had to be replaced. The sun roof has been in twice for adjustments. When I went to inspect the car 12 months after purchasing it, I needed new tires as they would not pass inspection. In July of this year I also had to have the rear transfer case replaced. I kept telling the local service department that there was something wrong. They would not cover the tires that wore improperly because of this rear transfer case.
My vehicle is now in for a new thermostat and again another radio. Apparently this model has the radio antenna installed with the rear defrost. So when using the rear defrost you lose all of your radio stations. And if the new radio does not clear this up, then it is something I must live with for the life of the car (and how long will that be?)
