Chrysler 300C srt8 2006 stalls after refueling. This has been dangerous for me since I'm just making the connection between the unexpected stalling in intersections and refueling. The car will 'buck' unexpectedly and the stall. I was able to restart but it continues stall for some time after the refueling. I understand an investigation is underway for this issue. Please add my complaint to the pile.

When the Chrysler 300 hemi 2006 receives a full tank of gas, the Chrysler 300 hemi 2006 shuts off after the initial start of the engine and an additional two to three times. After several starts of the engine, the Chrysler 300 hemi 2006 begins to move, but stalls and chokes while in motion. During the stalling and choking the Chrysler 300 hemi 2006 looses steering ability.

I was driving back home from atlanta and I stopped to fill up in macon. As I drove up the entrance ramp to I-75 the car stalled leaving me partially on the hi-way. A semi narrowly avoided rear ending me. After a few seconds the car started and I drove away. This is the 3rd time this has happened. A mechanic told me this is common on this type of car and the only fix is a new gas tank, which is very expensive.

After every fuel fillup, my Chrysler 300C stalls out completely. This has been a serious issue with my Chrysler 300C for a couple of months. In addition, the car stalls right after I leave the gas station and pull into traffic.

My car (300C AWD) stalls after fill up. This has happened several times on a trip from California to Georgia. I was filling the car three times a day. Moving from the fuel island to the interstate on-ramp the car will die making brakes and steering lose power as well. The car will restart and function correctly until the next fill up or it may stall once or twice again. The condition does not happen when stopping with out filling. I was able to shift into neutral and restart while rolling but this could be difficult in white knuckle situations. There is another condition that may or may not be related: Some times when starting to fill up, the gas pump nozzle shuts off due to "splash back" in the car's filler tube. I can remedy this by repositioning the pump nozzle to one side or the other. Once started, I can complete filling the car. My mechanic was at a loss with solving this problem.

After filling up with gas at the same place I always do I began to drive home at the first light I was fine at the 2nd light the car stalled I put it N and started the car up and drove home about 1 block. In the morning I started the car up to go to work it ran fine for the first 2 blocks the stalled again. I started it up again and drove to work. I was terrified. After getting it home I thought I would drive it around the neighborhood for a few days to be safe and not go on the freeway. It still hesitated and felt like it wasn't running right. Still wanting to stall. I then parked it for fear of being on the road and it stalling and someone running into me and killing me. With this many complaints about the same thing why is there not a recall on this problem. Are they waiting for someone to be killed first. I did love this car but cant drive something this unsafe....help

After filling up at a gas station, when we started to accelerate, the car stalled. It was hard to start again and it stalled a couple more times. This has happened many times since then and it seems to be getting worse. It is harder to start and it is taking a little time to go into gear. On my way home from work last week, it was raining and when it stalled I almost got hit by the car behind me. I called my local dealer and he told me that I can bring it in and have it diagnosed, but if it isn't doing it when I bring it in, that there is nothing they can do about it. He also told me that he is not aware of any known problems.

We purchased this auto showroom new from the dealer in 2006. Although breaking was questionable, we accepted when told the system was fine and the jerking was normal. However, since April 2008 this vehicle has stalled off and on at the most unsafe times. The dealers have not been able to duplicate the problem so they will not repair it. We had a new factory engine installed ($7,000) in 2012 and guess what" this new engine has started stalling. All our work has been completed at a dealership so Chrysler can't claim that an auto shop might have done something wrong to the vehicle. After viewing all the same complaints and having it happen to my wife and I, why haven't you or Chrysler taken care of the problem" dokkkkkkkkkkkk

After filling my tank with gas ( I do not overfill ) I turn my gas cap at least 1/2 turn start the car put it in gear and start driving. After a minute or so the car stalls. I have to stop put it in park turn key to off position and re-start the car. This has happened to me while in an intersection, while making a turn and if your not strong enough to turn the wheel because the power steering pump quit your in trouble big trouble. This stalling happens 2 to 3 times after filling the tank than stops until the next fuel stop. This is a safety issue. You never know exactly when your going to stall but you know it's coming and hope your not crossing traffic or in an intersection. Very dangerous ! I have told my dealership of the problem when this started but no action was ever taken. Wilde Chrysler in waukesha wi.

It the problem begin when I noticed my engine light indicator going on and off. When I took it to the Chrysler dealership, they told me that it was nothing wrong with it. They only said that because they noticed that the engine light indicator was no longer on. But when I left the dealership, the light came back on so I turned around and when back. They did a diagnostic test and realized that it was the esv valve. The esv valve tells the gasoline where to go in the motor. So now my vehicle is consuming more gas than before. Nothing was done to correct the problem because I was told that the mechanical problem wasn't covered under my warranty.
