The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300. After starting the vehicle, the contact attempted to shift, but the shifter became jammed. In addition, the steering column would not lock. The failure occurred without warning. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 175,000.
