The contact owns 2006 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to be aligned and to have new tires installed. A snapping noise was heard once the vehicle was placed on the lift and lifted into the air. The trailing arm on the rear suspension snapped. The dealer was notified and the contact was informed that the manufacturer began to use a strong type of metal during model year 2009 due to this common failure. The vehicle was repaired. The failure and current mileages were 62,230. Updated 09/07/2011

: the contact stated while driving 40 mph the vehicle started shaking and veered to the left without warning. The vehicle was driven to the dealer where it was determined the rear passenger lower control arm fractured and needed to be replaced.
