Was driving vehicle and out of no where there was steam/smoke coming from under hood, the car however never ran hot according to temperature gage. Coolant light came on, I parked it, filled it with coolant and took it to Chrysler the next morning. Dealership claimed that the car overheated and damaged the motor, however according to the gage the car never ran hot.

My wife had taken our 2008 Chrysler 300 in for service when while sitting in the service lane awaiting a service advisor with the engine running at idle one of the fan blades broke and went into the radiator. We found a technical service bulletin # csn-L08. We complied with sending all of the documentation per the service bulletin to Chrysler as instructed. After not hearing anything for more than 60 days after sending the documentation into Chrysler, we called Chrysler customer service and we were told that the reimbursement was denied due to some kind of sales code. When we asked what that was we were never told and kept being told the service bulletin was denied due to a sales code, but they would not tell us what that was and there is no such sales code mentioned on any of the paperwork and the service bulletin does not address any sales code. This seems to be a lot of double talk so it does not have to be reimbursed. We were never notified that the request was denied. We also had ignition problems per Chrysler recall # P57. This was still not fixed. We were told that was due to no parts available. We are brand loyal customers but this is changing our outlook for the Chrysler brand. Very disappointed with Chrysler's reaction to this issue.

Made several complaints to Chrysler around November 2014 regarding my car cutting off and periodically not starting.I received a recall from the fca around that same time for "win module and frequency operated button ignition key (fobik's P57".. I have a 5 yr. Loan on my car and Chrysler assured me that this issue would be resolved. I received a letter from Chrysler manufacture customer service/field operations in August 2015 stating that both recall parts had come in and I was to contact my nearest dealer. Well, the NHTSA 14V-567 airbag had come in. It has been corrected.thank you, but although that is also a serious issue, what is giving me a problem is the cutoff & start. My family & I feel unsafe! not to mention not being able to have a car that I can depend on. I am very disappointed that this hasn't been corrected. It appears to be getting worse. Chrysler said the part was in...is it or not?!!!! I need to make sure that my family is safe and my children can get to and from school & appointments. This is ridiculous!
