I bought a chrysler 300 believing it to be an awesome vehicle and it turned out to be a pain in the ass. The oil pump went out causing the engine to blow. I brought it to the dealership for maintenance within a month of purchasing the vehicle for running hot, 45 days later i brought it back again for running hot, after gettting the runaround i brought it to a private mechanic and he said that the dealership was screwing me so i had him fix the thermostat 3 months later the engine blew. I then brought it back to the dealership and they said it was poor maintenance on my behalf. That's bull because i kept the car maintained the whole time I've had it. now I'm looking for legal advise so i can return the favor.

I checked my oil before leaving on a 3 hr trip this past weekend, because I notice that centripetal force was causing my oil light light to ding. I figured it may need to be topped off. I checked it 3 times to be sure, and the dipstick showed I was at the Max fill line.
When the engine had overdrive engaged, it suddenly disengaged, losing all power. I pulled over to the side of the road when the vehicle shut off. Attempts to restart sounded as if the engine was seized up. I tried to roll it to disengage, no joy. Had it towed to my local Chrysler dealership (110 miles) and they told me the engine was bone dry. Can I suspect this to be an issue with Oil Sludge, as previously reported with the 2.7 liter engines?
