Car was stalling and had electrical issues. I paid to get it fixed but never knew there was a recall for my vehicles alternator. The vehicle battery dies fairly quickly from time to time still and every know and then I have to call AAA to jump my car and they say my battery is good. Chrysler's number for this recall is T36. I never received a noticed.

This vehicle has very poor lighting output from the headlights. The projector lamps are terrible. There are no high beams. There is some type of shutter that moves to redirect the light. The high beams are worse than the low beams. Worse headlights I have ever had on a car I owned. This car is dangerous to drive at night period then add some rain and a construction zone and it really gets even worse. I have almost been in many accidents because of these lights almost hitting a pedestrians and other vehicles. I avoid driving this car at night at all costs. I cannot afford another vehicle so I am stuck with this vehicle I guess. I wish I would have driven this car at night before I purchased it because there's not a chance in hell that I would have bought

The contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that the passenger side tail light fractured without warning. The vehicle was already at the dealer (stephen wade Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Fiat 1724 hilton dr, St george, Utah 84770) where it was being serviced for an existing recall. The dealer diagnosed that the stop tail turn lamp failed, which caused the tail light to melt. The tail light needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. While driving about 30mpr, car suddenly loss all inside lights, including indicator lights. Within one minutes later, power dropped and car was barely driving. Within the two blocks I had to drive to get home, power continued to drop. No way to control the car; unable to turn off.ignition or put car in park it suddenly began to smoke profusely. Looked like all fluids leaked and car became hot. Then all dash lights came on flashing violently. Car smoked for about 20 minutes or more before it became quiet. Gears would not engage, so it remained in drive the whole time. I kept my foot on brake due to uncertain about what the car would do. It was completely dead but continued to smoke more than 30 more minutes. Was unable to control anything. Could not even operate trunk. I am totally afraid of this car. Towed to dealer. Alternator cost >$1100. Mileage is just over 68000. P60 recall was not assigned to my car due to amp value.

Airbag warning light keeps coming on and staying on for long lengths of time. Recall number NO7 was issued for this very thing but Chrysler refuses to repair ours as it is 2 months short of manaufactor date. The recall began in April of 2013 and I contend the same parts that initiated this recall are the same parts used in our vehicle. They told me when enough complaints come in they may extend the dates of manufactor for the recall,

After being parked in shade for over an hour on warm (70) day, brake light came on, then engine and transmission light on and off while driving. While at stop, smell of burnt plastic and unable to shift from drive to park; was eventually able to shift into park, then vehicle died, including flashers. No power to anything, including doors. Was stopped at head of left turn lane during lunch hour traffic; out of car due to building heat and increased burning plastic smell and to direct traffic around the vehicle for over an hour until towed by aaa. Diagnosed by dealer (lithia Dodge in santa rosa, ca) as wire shorted in alternator, but they say not covered by recall #14V634000. Quoted repair is $1452 for new alternator and battery, plus approx. $500 in car rental costs. Mileage about 58,000.

The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number:14V634000 (electrical system) however the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 22,000.

The contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that the headlights failed to provide the proper lighting coverage when driving uphill. There was no lighting coverage to see forward or while turning in either direction. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times for the failure. The dealer adjusted the headlight according to specifications however the failure was not corrected. The dealer advised the contact that there was nothing else they could do to correct the headlight failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The contact owns a 2012 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that the low beam headlights would not provide proper illumination and the high beam illuminated upward and side ways. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times for the failure the dealer advised the contact that the headlight was a new designed and there was nothing they could do to correct the failure. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 4,000 and the current mileage was 10,000.

The vehicle is equipped with capsulated headlights, the left headlight has a halo and light pattern above the limit line that blinds oncoming traffic creating a hazard. Dealer refuses to do anything about it. Says many of the comparative cars have this pattern. It is very distracting to drive and dangerous for oncoming traffic. The headlights are adjusted to proper elevation.

The contact stated that when driving during the night at low speeds of 5 -10 mph, the headlights activated and attempting a turn, the contact was unable to see the road due to reduced illumination. The vehicle was later taken to the dealer where they advised him that there was no safety issue and the vehicle was performing as designed. The manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance.
