Started noticing a milky substance in the antifreeze reservoir. Took car to dealership for evaluation and oil change and engine back flush.. Mechanic advises the head gasket might be blown and needs replacement. Total cost would be$ 4300. Car was driving ok until the engine overheated and check engine light and thunder bolt warning illuminated. Had the car towed to dealership Wednesday, only to be diagnosed again on Friday for the cost of repair. Seem mechanics are interested on how much profit they will be making rather than customer satisfaction after waiting 3hrs at the shop when no call came through while at home.
What is the essence of performing a 23 point inspection when you miss vital signs. Dealership is becoming a rip off and not really caring about customer satisfaction. Just barely replaced pcm and alternator, that cost me $2500.
