Starting feeling a slight "wobble" in the front end about a month ago that quickly progressed to an "I'm afraid to drive it over 30mph because it feels like the front end is about to fall out from under me at any moment" WOBBLE. Took it to a local shop to have them check it out and after putting it up on the lift and checking everything out, I was told they were going to have to drive it to try to figure out what was going on because everything was tight and in good shape. With the car in park and turning the steering wheel completely to the left then completely to the right about 6-8 times, the car had moved to the left over an inch, almost coming completely off the lift, in which a mechanic was standing!!
The problem was confirmed by 2 of their mechanics and no solution was found. I was told they would have to start taking apart the front end to further inspect everything. I chose to pick it up and take it the used car lot where i had purchased it, as I had only had the car a month at the time and it was still under a 90 day warranty. The used car lot basically told me the same thing, everything looks fine, but there is for sure something wrong with it. I believe their Service Manager used the word "squirrelly" when he was telling me what he had found.
It was then taken to the Dodge dealership, inspected, and given the same reply, looks like everything is fine, drives like something is wrong. STILL NO SOLUTION. The car lot put a new set of tires on it and told me to use the "sport mode" steering option. So as of right now Im having to drive a beautiful car, with brand spanking new tires, that rides like Im being pulled down the road by a team of horses in a wooden wheeled wagon. HELP
