ECM light come on when I'm on the highway and I get loss of power and car slows down and I seen on credit karma shown there was a recall for the PCM module I wanted to know if I qualify for a free recall repair.

The contact owns a 2016 Chrysler 300. While driving at a low speeds, the contact depressed the brake and accelerator pedals at the same time and the vehicle stalled. The "electronic throttle control system should be serviced" warning indicator illuminated. The contact had to place the vehicle in park and restart it to resume driving. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was informed that he needed to keep his foot off the accelerator pedal. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and transferred the contact to NHTSA. The approximate failure mileage was 8,000. Updated 06/29/17 the consumer stated the failure only occurrs at slow speeds. Updated 10/19/2017
