I leased this 2017 Chrysler 300-S for 39 months and purchased an extended MOPAR Max Care warranty for $381 to cover me for the additional 3 months time. This door panel warping started after the original 36 month warranty ended, I planned to have it repaired at lease turn in 2 months later.
Well, upon returning the vehicle, I was told this is a cosmetic issue and not covered by the warranty. I'm being charged $762 for the panel to be replaced for the leasing company. This isn't due to abuse or excess wear and tear... this is a DEFECT in materials used or design from Chrysler and it should be a covered repair. I've found 100's of other complaints on chrysler forums and just now I am also seeing all the reports of problems with the Dodge Charger door panels... coincidence???? I DON"T THINK SO.
