My UConnect system periodically goes berserk and the radio changes from FM to AM, flashing on the screen between the radio and navigation system. Bluetooth won't work. My heat control settings do what they want. My backup camera sometimes stays on. The whole system sometimes shuts down than comes back on. The back up camera issue started about a year ago and is sporadic. The radio/navigation/heating issues just started about a month ago. This too is sporadic. I never know when it is going to happen. It is extremely distracting!!!! I can take the vehicle to the local dealer for inspection upon request. I will actually need to call to get this fixed, but I am hoping to receive a recall as I have read that there is/was a class action lawsuit for UConnect problems. These issues just happen right out of the blue, there is no warning of any kind. Needless to say I am not happy!

The vehicle components started failing first with lighting and electrical malfunctions. Due to the concerns I was on the way to the mechanic on 9/16/23 when the air bags deployed on the passengers side without any impact. The Vehicle is at Chrysler dealer on central avenue Albany, NY and available for inspection. I had just dropped off my grandchildren this could have severely had a horrible impact had they been in car. Not to mention it scared me, I was not sure what was happening. I was scared to get back in the car. I was driving on interstate this is scary for anyone driving with no visibility. Chrysler currently has the vehicle since 9/19/23. I have reached out to dealer and Chrysler Corporate office with no result. They always say they will get back to me. Unless I reach out they do not respond. Claim # 87602057 with Chrysler corporation. They vehicle has been inspected by manufacturer James Brozovich on 10/26/23 works with Bosch automotive service solutions Work #(734)979-5827 Cell # (586)215-8547. The radio would blink in and out and if radio worked headlights did not work. If headlights worked radio and dashboard light did not work. Air bag light and engine light came on one time when on the way to the shop. Vehicle was on the way to shop due to electrical concerns.

Delaminating screen causing all sorts of issues while driving. Changing stations, favorites, attempting to make calls which could lead to calling 911 in error, turning back on after I-€™ve turned it off trying to avoid the car from calling randomly, adjusting climate, etc. all on its own. This is a known issue since 2015. Class action lawsuits have been filed. This is a huge safety hazard and a recall should be done. This is going to cause many crashes!

The vehicle's LCD screen has become delaminated which causes the control of the radio, air conditioning, navigation, and other features controlled by the "radio" portion of the car to become dysfunctional. The car will randomly beep, change air temperatures, start navigation, cause the loss of hands-free communication. This is a safety hazard as it causes the driver to be distracted in order to attend to the incessant beeping and issues related to AC/heat, navigation or radio (volume, etc.). This appears from Chrysler Forums to be an issue among a large group of Chrysler 300 Year Model 15-18 owners. I am encouraging them to file a concern with your group and to ask for a recall of the car for this reason.

The Uconnect screen has delamination in it that is causing ghost punches on the touch screen. I have ad this screen replaced back in 2018 for the same issue and its now doing the same thing. It is very distracting when it starts to call people due to the ghost touches or its messing with the radio or general setting for the car.

The center console control that has your heat, radio, seat heat control, car temperature control as well as phone and navigation system started acting nuts.Dash started running navigation system to random destinations with distance and time then it would switch to phone and start calling random phone numbers in my contact list.tried to call 911 and could not connect and told me to try calling from my cell phone.like another report i read about this separation of glass on this display may very well be the cause but don-€™t know for sure. This is the first time I had this problem and with today-€™s computers on these new cars I worry if it will start taking over control of car functions and drivability issues.I have been a mechanic for more than 40 years and never seen anything like this.Hope someone will look into this problem before someone gets hurt.

Jumped a vehicle at around 110000 miles ECM module draining battery according to dealer code P1df3. Known problem among multiple Chrysler Dodge Jeep products when I did a quick web search. ECM faulty requires full discharge with battery cables removed. Did not work for me had to go to dealership to get them to flash and reset if I did not have a warranty they would have charged me.

When putting my car in reverse, the screen that shows my backup camera went out, came back on, flickered and flashed. I bumped into a small tree near my driveway. This is also very dangerous when backing out of a parking space. I cannot turn my screen off if I am in reverse so the screen continues to flash, turn bright blue and makes it very unsafe and difficult to even see using my side mirrors. Very seldom does the camera/screen work correctly.
